Troubleshooting steps for HTC Handset.

Step 1: Soft reset


A soft reset basically resets the memory structure in the handheld. This recovers the phone from memory conflicts caused by some applications or software incompatibility and instability.

1. First disable the Fast boot on your phone. From the phones Home screen, pull down the notification bar and then select Settings. Go to Power and uncheck or disable Fast boot. . Please turn off your phone and remo!e the S"# card, S$ card %if theres any& and the battery of the phone for 1' seconds. Theres a chance that the phones hardware is still recogni+ing your old software thats why its creating a conflict on its system. Factory reset will not erase the data and files that are on the storage card.
