&! & Recognize your insecurities! 'hat does that voice in the bac# of your mind say? 'hat ma#es you ashamed of yourself? This could be anything from acne, to regrets, or friends at school! 'hatever is ma#ing you feel unworthy, ashamed, or inferior, identify it, give it a name, and write it down! (ou can also tear these written %ieces to start feeling %ositive on those %oints!

)! ) Talk about it with friends and loved ones! 'ear it on your sleeve! *ach day you should chi% away at it+ wear it down! There's no uic# fi,! -et to the root of the %roblem+ focus on it and understand that you need to resolve each issue before you can move on! And that doesn't mean you have to get rid of whatever ma#es you feel bad .many times, you sim%ly can't/! (ou need to learn to accept yourself, your %ast, your circumstances as they are, without necessarily thin#ing of them as 0bad0! 1! 1 Remember that no one is perfect! *ven the most confident %eo%le have insecurities! At some %oint in any of our lives, we may feel we lac# something! Do not allow yourself to be victimi$ed! *,%ress yourself, whether it's through art, music, writing, etc! 4ind something you en5oy! *veryone is born with talents and strengths! "f it's difficult to name two or three things you have some ability in or 5ust %lain love to do, thin# about things others do that you would li#e to do too and ta#e some lessons or 5oin an enthusiasts club! 'hen you're following your %assion, not only will it have a thera%eutic effect, but you'll feel uni ue and accom%lished, all of which can hel% build your self confidence!

Plus, adding a variety of interests to your life will not only ma#e you more confident, but it will increase your chances of meeting com%atible friends6 7! 7 Be thankful for what you have! A lot of the times, at the root of insecurity and lac# of confidence is a feeling of not having enough of something, whether it's emotional validation, good luc#, money, etc! By ac#nowledging and a%%reciating what you do have, you can combat the feeling of being incom%lete and unsatisfied! 4inding that inner %eace will do wonders for your confidence! 8! 8 Be Positive even if you don!t feel the same way! Avoid self-%ity, or the %ity and sym%athy of others! 9ever allow others to ma#e you feel inferior--they can only do so if you let them!
