Constructing rear

1. Place two gray bumpers on red 4x1 Lego. 2. Attach red taillights onto indented spaces on gray bumper platform. 3. Place license plate in between taillights on gray bumper 4. Place red 4x1 Lego with bumpers onto rear platform below taillights. (see fig 10) fig 10:

Constructing convertible
1. Place two wheel covers on the rear end of the frame. (see fig 12) 2. Place red side skirts onto frame to where it is touching rear wheel cover. (see fig 13) 3. Attach steering column to the front of the gray frame on the third row. (see fig 14) 4. Attach front end to the first two rows of the gray frame. (see fig 15) 5. Attach rear end to the rear of the gray frame on the hanging ledge. (see fig 16) 6. Place seat and driver in the center white section of frame as desired. (see fig 17) fig 12: fig 13:

Before you cruise

Before you build your dream machine please read the following carefully. Please read safety materials included with your Legos. Intended audience are ages 5-12. Your convertible will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. Needed materials for construction are pictured below. (see fig 1)

Constructing the frame

1. Lay dark gray frame upside down. 2. Place light gray wheel axles on each end of frame, leaving a 2x1 space at one end. (see fig 2) 3. Add white 4x2 Lego to inside center of the undercarriage of frame. 4. Add wheels to the end of the wheel axles. 5. Notice in figure how the left end extends further than the right. The left end is the rear. (see fig 2) fig 2:

Constructing front end

1. Attach two red 4x1 Legos on top of the front wheel covers. 2. Place the two gray 2x1 side mirrors on top of the red 4x1 Lego. 3. Connect two red interior hood Legos between the U shaped red exterior hoods Lego. 4. Attach the exterior hood Lego on the wheel covers in front of mirror Lego. 5. Attach the light gray 2x1 Lego to the bottom of the interior hood Lego so that it touches the wheel covers. 6. Attach the windshield to the gray 4x1 Lego. (see fig 6 & 7) fig 6: fig 7:

Constructing side skirt

1. Add flat red side panel to top of curved side panel and repeat (see fig 3) 2. Attach red 4x1 Lego to one end of the side panel. (see fig 4) fig 3: fig 4:

Constructing front bumper

1. Attach the yellow headlights into the indention of the front of the bumper platform. 2. Place the grill onto the front of the bumper platform between the headlights 3. Connect the gray arched bumper to the front of the bumper platform below the headlights and grill. 4. Place the bumper platform to the bottom of the interior hood Lego so that it touches the light gray 2x1 Lego. (see fig 8 &9) fig 8: fig 9:

Constructing steering column
