ideas or feelings. It is often
informal.
Speak = To talk about some -
thing important 'speak' is
more formal than 'talk'.

v) Say something to someone.
Say is always followed by
to + somebody, except when it is
followed by 'so/ yes/ no'. It is also
followed by a 'that' clause.

'Tell' is always followed by the person
