The Global PR Trends Summit is being organized in one of the worlds most excitingciting cities. Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey, constituting the country's economic, cultural, and historical heart. With a population of 13.9 million, the city forms one of the largest urban agglomerations in Europe and is the second-largest city in the world by population within city limits and the largest city in the Middle East. Approximately 11.6 million foreign visitors arrived in Istanbul in 2012, two years after it was named a European Capital of Culture, making the city the world's fth-most-popular tourist destination. The city's biggest draw remains its historic center, partially listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but its cultural and entertainment hub can be found across the city's natural harbor, the Golden Horn, in the Beyolu district. Considered a global city, Istanbul is one of the fastest-growing metropolitan economies in the world.

Participants will be divided into groups and each group will select a spokesperson who will be inter viewed on the particular crisis situation. Each interview will be recorded and broadcasted to the entire audience. As the crisis develops, other spokespeople will be taken The simulation will also include a press conference where the spokespeople have to answer journalist questions. The press conference will be lmed and shown to delegates and trainers for feedback

With more than 25 years experience ranging from the British Royal Household, via Downing Street, to international NGOs, Colleen Harris has a strong track record of working in high-prole media and communications roles. This professional experience is complemented by a broad portfolio of trusteeships and non-executive director roles in the arts, education and health. Colleen held a senior communications position in the Prime Ministers Ofce before being appointed Press Secretary to HRH the Prince of Wales, and was the rst Black member of the Royal Household. She handled the media for The Prince of Wales during some of the most turbulent years, and also media-managed the emergence of Princes William and Harry into the public eye. Her career has included senior posts in the Deputy Prime Ministers Ofce, and the Cabinet Ofce as well as in non-departmental Public Bodies. She has worked in Britain and abroad as a consultant with private companies, non-prot organisations and UN agencies, including the World Health Organisation. Colleens work in a wide variety of contexts has taught her about managing individual reputations, as well as how to use brand-development techniques to help clients identify and take full advantage of their strengths and skills equipping them to dene their own public proles, and achieve personal and business success. Colleens board-level and executive experience has given her a good appreciation of how to inspire and lead teams, as well as insight into the qualities that CEOs and boards look for in high-level executives.

You will be picked up from your hotel between 19:00 and 19:30 and transferred to the dinner cruise boat. You will sail up the Bosphorus the waterway between Europe and Asia, passing under the suspension bridges and viewing Ottoman summer palaces, waterside mansions and modern villas that line the European and Asian coasts. The panoramic night views of Istanbul by the Bosphorus and the traditional Turkish dinner will always remain a memorable experience on your Turkey travels.
