Principals Message: On Thursday, December 5th from 5:00-7:00pm, Viscount Alexander will be hosting our annual Holiday Family Fun Night. This is an evening dedicated to celebrating the holiday spirit, and we will have a number of games and activities for students and their families to take part in! We will also be accepting donations for the Champions for Kids Foundation, as well as the relief effort in the Philippines. As the holiday season is fast approaching, I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season, full of pleasant times with family and friends. Please be aware that Friday, December 20th is a PA Day, and there is no school for students. The school year will resume on Monday, January 6th, 2014. School Council Update: Our School Council recently recorded a unanimous vote to support the school trip to see The Little Mermaid on Friday, December 6th. All students from JK grade 6 will be able to attend at no cost. The students and staff at Viscount would like to thank the members of school council for this opportunity. The next School Council Meeting will take place on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 6:00pm in the Learning Common. Athletics: Mlle. Coleman and her team continue to prepare for the upcoming ultimate chicken tournament. Good luck to all of Viscounts athletes! Lost and Found: Our lost and found has been accumulating, and over the next two weeks, we will be placing items on display, in hopes that they will be claimed by their rightful owners. Any items remaining will be donated to charity on Friday, December 20th. Supervision of Students: Please be aware that supervision for students begins at 8:45am every day. Parents/Guardians are asked to refrain from sending their child(ren) to school before this time, in order maximize safety. Virtual Learning Commons:
It has been a great fall in the Learning Commons. There have been new titles added to our library collection for students to read and enjoy.
