Impact of Sankhya Nabhas Yoga in human life

There are numerous Yogas in Vedic astrology. Nabhas Yoga is most significant Yoga among all these Yogas. These Yogas are formed on the basis of number of planets in a Kundali. Nabhas Yogas are of three kinds - Ashraya Yoga, Akriti Yoga and Sankhya Yoga. We will discuss all these Yogas one by one. Today, we will talk only about Sankhya Yoga. Sankhya Nabhas Yoga is formed on the basis of number of planets in a Kundali. The total number of planets in the twelve houses of a Kundali play an important role in it. Each Sankhya Nabhas Yoga has a different name. Let us now discuss all these Yogas in detail.

Impact of Nabhas Veena Yoga

Effects of Kedar Yoga on human life

Kedar Yoga is formed when all the seven planets are present in four houses of a Janma Kundali. The person taking birth in this Yoga earns immense wealth through land and property. He earns a lot of wealth through his hard work and his only source of income will be land. Kedar Yoga increases the auspicious results of the Karakas of the house or sign in which it is present. The impact of Gol Yoga in the life of a person

The last Yoga among all the Nabhas Sankhya Yogas is Gol Yoga. It is a unique Yoga and is formed very rarely. It is formed when all the seven planets are present in one house. Therefore, it is very difficult to make prediction in such a Yoga. The predictions in a such a Kundali cannot be made without studying a Varga Kundali. This Yoga was formed in the 1962 when all the seven planets were present in one house.

The native of this Yoga has very less wealth and he is not able to earn much wealth despite of hard work. A person taking birth in this Yoga travels a lot. He cannot stay at one place for a long time. He might also not get good education and faces a lot of troubles in completing his education. But, he can overcome these situations with his determination.

Ch. 35. Raja Yogas 1. This science is mainly useful to rulers. Hence I explain in this Ch. the configurations, that make one a king. 2. KINGLY/WEALTHY YOGAS. One born in a royal scion will become a ruler, if 3, or 4 planets, with strength, occupy their exaltation/Mulatrikona Signs at birth. If 5, or 6 planets be so placed, even a person of mean birth will attain rulership. If one, or two heavenly bodies be so, the native will only be rich, being equal to a king, but not really be a king. 3. According to Yavanas, if only malefics are exalted, the native will become a king indulging, in cruel deeds. But, as per Jeevasarma, such planets will make one valorous, but not a king. One with such a Yoga (according to Kalyanavarma) will be honoured and will become the head of a region. 4. Explained below are the Yogas, that will make even a person of base birth a king, according to Shastras. 5. If all the four of the Sun, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter, or three of them, be exalted and one of them be simultaneously in the Ascendant, a total of 16 kinds of Raja Yogas are formed. One born even in a mean caste with such a Yoga will become a ruler. Again a different group of 16 Raja Yogas are formed, if one, or two out of the above four planets are in exaltation, while one of the exalted planets occupies the Ascendant, as the Moon remains in Cancer. According to great sages, these 32 Yogas will make one a ruler, who reigns the whole earth, as though it is just a garden. 6. If at the time of birth either the Ascendant, or the Moon be in Vargothama Nava and be in aspect to 5, or 6 planets other than the Moon (when the Ascendant being considered) one will become a king in spite of his having taken birth in a mean family. 7. If at birth Aries be the Ascendant containing the Moon, Mars and Jupiter one will become an emperor of the whole earth encircled by the seas and the Udayagiri (i.e. the mountain, from which the Sun etc. are supposed to rise) and will roaringly destroy his enemies.

8. Should Jupiter be in Cancer, while Mars occupies Aries identical with the Ascendant, or should both Jupiter and Mars be in Aries Ascendant, the native will become a ruler whose enemies dare not approach him, while his minister will be favourable to him. 9. Should the Moon be in the 11th House along with Venus and Jupiter, while Aries, Capricorn and Virgo are occupied by their Lords, one born in Virgo Ascendant will doubtlessly become a very knowledgeable king. 10. If Cancer Ascendant contain the Moon with full bright rays, while the 7th, 6th, 4th, 10th and 3rd are, respectively, occupied by Mercury, Sun, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn, the native will become a ruler. Simultaneously Mars should be conjunct Saturn. 11. Should Taurus ascend at birth with the Full Moon, as Aquarius, Leo and Scorpio are tenanted, respectively, by Saturn, the Sun and Jupiter, the native will become a king with abundant riches and with conveyances. 12. If Capricorn Ascendant birth along with Saturn, while Pisces, Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius are, respectively, occupied by the Moon, Mars, Mercury and Jupiter, one will become a ruler equal to Indra, Lord of the Lords. 13. If the Moon is in Pisces identical with Ascendant, while Capricorn, Aquarius and Leo are in their order occupied by Mars, Saturn and the Sun, one will become a ruler well versed in all arts. 14. One will become an unconquerable king, with knowledge of the Vedas, if he takes birth in Capricorn Ascendant with exalted Mars, if it opposed by Full Moon in Cancer. 15. If exalted Sun is in the Ascendant along with the Moon, the native will become a ruler, who will be endowed with pleasing appearance and with whose very reminiscence the enemies will shed tears and will sparkle fire of grief in their hearts. 16. Should Venus, Mars and Jupiter by respective]y placed in Aquarius, Aries and Cancer, one born so will become a king spreading his fame to all the directions. 17. If the planet Jupiter, with the splendour of heated yellow metal, be in Cancer identical with Ascendant, while the Sun is in the 10th in Aries and the Moon,

Mercury and Venus are in Taurus (in the 11th), one will conquer the entire earth with his own prowess. 18. The native will become a king, if the Moon occupies Sagittarius along with Jupiter, while Mars occupies Capricorn and Mercury in Virgo in Ascendant. 19. If the Luminaries occupy the first half of Sagittarius, while Saturn is exalted, with exceeding strength, in Libra Ascendant and Mars is in Capricorn, one will become a ruler whose valour will provoke only honour from his foes. 20-21. CHANDRADHI YOGA. Adhi Yoga is caused by all benefics being in the 6th, 7th and 8th from the Moon. These Houses should exclude the Sun and not receive any aspect from malefics. One born with this Yoga will become a king possessing a kingdom boundaried by seas whose band of intoxicated elephants will eke out ichor, which the black forest bees will drink (mistaking the ichor to be flowers honey). Such a native will be immune to senescence and sickness, be bereft of fear from enemies, be valorous, fortunate and happy. 22. Mercury in exaltation in the Ascendant, the Moon and Jupiter in Pisces, Mars and Saturn in Capricorn, while Venus is in Gemini: this configuration will produce a ruler destroying his enemies. The dust formed by the movements of his elephant Army will darken the entire earth. 23. One will become a king with the following planetary configuration prevailing at the time of birth: The Sun and Jupiter in Leo, Saturn in Aquarius, the Moon in Taurus, Mars in Scorpio and the Ascendant in Aries. 24. A famous king will be produced, if Aries be the Ascendant at birth along with the Sun therein, Jupiter be in Sagittarius and the Moon with Saturn is in Libra.

In order to analyze inauspicious incidents, a lot of things are studied in Vedic astrology. We have to analyze Janma Kundali, related Varga Kundali, Dasha/Antardasha and timing of incident. Another important aspect which needs to be studied is Chhidra Dasha. Chhidra planets are different in every Kundali. There are always inauspicious. During Dasha of a Chhidra planet, a person experiences some inauspicious incidents in his life. Let us tell you which planets are Chhidra.

The Lord of eighth house in Janma Kundali Planet transiting with the Lord of eighth house Planets positioned in eighth house Planet aspecting eighth house

Lord of 22nd Dreshkan Lord of 64th Navansh Enemy planet of the Lord of eighth house.

All the above mentioned planets are known as Chhidra planets. These planets are unable to protect a person. During dasha of these planets in a Janma Kundali, a person experiences mental, physical and spiritual problems. Let us tell you about the procedure to calculate Lords of 22nd Dreshkan and 64th Navansh.

Lord of 22nd Dreshkan

You should keep degrees of your Birth Ascendant in the eighth house and use it to formulate Dreshkan Kundali. In other words, if the planet is between 0 to 10 degrees, it will be in the eighth house. If the planet is between 10 to 20 degrees, then the Lord of fifth house from eighth house is the Lord of 22nd Dreshkan. This is the twelfth house in a Janma Kundali. If these degrees are present in 3rd Dreshkan, then the Lord of ninth house from eighth house is the Lord of 22nd Dreshkan. There is a simple way to calculate the Lord of 22nd Dreshkan. The Lord of the sign present in the eighth house of a Dreshkan Kundali is the Lord of 22nd Dreshkan. It is also known as Kharesh.

Lord of 64th Navansh

You should keep Moons degrees in the eighth house from the Moon. You have to begin counting in the same way as you do to create a Navansh Kundali. For instance, if Moon is between 15 degrees and 20 minutes in a Janma Kundali, keep them in the eighth house. Let us assume that Moon is in Taurus sign and Sagittarius sign is present in the eighth house from Moon. Remember we have kept the degrees and minutes in this house. We will now notice the Navansh which is present at 15 degrees and 20 minutes. The fifth Navansh is present here. Counting will begin from Aries in Sagittarius. The fifth sign from Aries is Leo. Sun is the Lord of Leo sign. Hence, Sun will be the Lord of 64th Navansh. We can also analyze this in a Navansh Kundali. The Lord of the fourth house from where Moon is positioned in a Navansh Kundali is the Lord of 64th Navansh. Dasha Sandhi

"Gear-Change" Transitional effects between the Maha-Dasha Periods

What is "Dasha Sandhi"?

"Sandhi" = "rule for changing something". In language grammar, sandhi is a rule for changing a sound, such as the English plural rule for when plural-s sounds like 's' and when it sounds like 'z'. In calligraphy, 'sandhi' is a ligature that bridges two characters. Sandhi is a rule for how to make a change-over. In Jyotisha, dasha-sandhi is the rule for calculating how long the "change-over effect" will take, when the native shifts from one mahadasha to another mahadasha. Experientially, dasha-sandhi can be thought of as "time required for changing planes" in an airport, or as the the "gear-shift" period in automotive gear transmission.

As the momentum of the previous mahadasha dies down the momentum of the next dasha begins to build up

Neither the passing mahadasha nor the arriving mahadasha performs at maximum power during dasha-sandhi. Wait for full mahadasha effects until end of dasha sandhi. Also, it is helpful for predicting events to calculate the dasha-sandhi period between some of the longer bhukti periods during the longer mahadasha such as periods of Shukra, Budha, and Shani.

To calculate the length of dasha-sandhi [approximately]

RULE 1. take the combined length of the previous dasha and the next dasha 2. calculate 10 percent of total 3. divide the 10 percent roughly in half EXAMPLE e.g., if you are changing from Surya Mahadasha to Chandra Mahadasha, take 6 years for Surya and 10 years for Chandra = two combined periods = 16 years e.g., 10% of 16 years = 1.6 years (approx. 18 months)

4. consider the dasha sandhi or "gear change to e.g., 9 months start 9 months before the end of previous mahadasha, and to end 9 months after the beginning of next mahadasha e.g., Surya Mahadashawill start losing momentum soon after the start of Surya/Shukra, and Chandra Mahadasha will give full effects only after the first 9 months of Chandra/Chandra. Sandhi Period Mahadasha passing away Mahadasha approaching Days-months of the sandhi

"gear-shift" period = from Ketu to Shukra 10% of Ketu's 7-year mahadasha = the final 256 days of Ketu mahadasha from Shukra to Surya 10% of Shukra 20-year mahadasha = final two years of Shukra mahadasha from Surya to Chandra 10% of Surya 6-year mahadasha = final 220 days of Surya mahadasha from Chandra to Mangala 10% of Chandra 10-year mahadasha = final one year of Chandra mahadasha from Mangala to Rahu 10% of Mangala 7-year mahadasha = final 256 days of Mangala mahadasha from Rahu to Guru 10% of Rahu 18-year mahadasha = final 1 year 10 months of Rahu mahadasha from Guru to Shani 10% of Guru 16-year mahadasha = final 1 year 6 months of Guru mahadasha from Shani to Budha 10% of Shani 19-year mahadasha + 10% of Shukra 20-year mahadasha = initial two years of Shukra + 10% of Surya 6-year mahadasha = initial 220 days of Surya + 10% of Chandra 10-year mahadasha = initial one year of Chandra mahadasha + 10% of Mangala 7-year mahadasha = initial 256 days of Mangala mahadasha + 10% of Rahu 18-year mahadasha = initial 1 year 10 months of Rahu mahadasha + 10% of Guru 16-year mahadasha = initial 1 year 6 months of Guru mahadasha + 10% of Shani 19-year mahadasha = initial 1 year 9 months of Shani mahadasha + 10% of Budha 17-year mahadasha approx 3 years 4 months approx 3 years 3 months approx 3 years 4 months approx 2 years 6 months approx 1 year 9 months approx 1 year 7 months approx 2 years 7 months approx 2 years 9 months

= final 1 year 9 months of Shani mahadasha from Budha to Ketu 10% of Budha 17-year mahadasha = final 1 year 7 months of Budha mahadasha

= initial 1 year 7 months of Budha mahadasha + the initial 255 days of Ketu mahadasha approx 2 years 4 months

About Dasha-Sandhi timing and effects

Dasha-sandhi occurs because the physical body is slowerto accommodate the psychic programming changes which have already taken place on the astral plane and above. Our hopes, wishes, desires, expectations, beliefs, anxieties, fears, and faith are woven into psychic patterns. If not apprehended and managed directly in their psycho-mental form, the psychological projections forthcoming from these expectations and desires will begin to percolate down into the emotional and material planes, causing sensually tangible changes. The social and emotional perceptions are more flexible and therefore one might notice the appearance of a new person, a change of social relationship, or a new set of emotional responses during the dasha-sandhi period. However it may be quite awhile before the physical body is prepared to fully accommodate the new goals, new karma, and new wisdom indicated by the change in spiritual agenda. Naturally, as a person ages, there is increasing physical body resistance to changing environmental conditions.

The physical body is locked into habitual reactions increasingly since childhood. Our habits get ever stronger as we age. So, dasha-sandhi effects increase as we age. Entering any new mahadasha in mid-life or later, expect dasha-sandhi effect-delay factor will be strong. We might wantthe changes emotionally or intellectually - but physically the body prefers the security of known habits. The body puts up ever-more valiant resistance to change as we age.

Unless one is psychically vigilant to maintaining high creativity, trust, and permission levels, the body's survival instincts can squash even the most brilliant mahadasha prospects during dasha sandhi.

Slowing for Survival - Have Patience When Entering New Dasha

To be compassionate toward the physical body and its natural survival programming, appreciate that at time of dasha sandhi, the body has been long accustomed to managing the psychic inflow of the old mahadasha.

All of its natural balancing and preserving systems have been dedicated to managing the old stuff. If you are finishing a mahadasha of Saturn or Rahu, that means your body has been dedicated to managing Saturn-karma or Rahu-karma for 19 or 18 years!! That's a lot of habit! When new psychic information from the new mahadasha starts to enter the consciousness, the physical body's reflexive defense systems will resist the new opportunities/new information flowing from the new mahadasha in preference to the established older way of being.

It will take most of the allotted "dasha sandhi" time for the "new you" to really bear fruit.

New mahadasha brings new attitudes before new events

Nevertheless, there are usually a few confirming events right at the beginning of a new mahadasha that prove a noticeable shift in your aura. Since energy percolates down from the aura's higher pictures into the time-space world, you will notice some significant improvements in mental and emotional health first - before any material changes. Often the psychic excitement of gaining more information from your memories at the onset of a new mahadasha generates a burst of enthusiasm for life (at least for a positive mahadasha). Right at the beginning of the new mahadasha, even though dasha sandhi may prevent dramatic events, you start to get fresh insights regarding your psychic interrelationships with important people in your life. At least one significant new relationship should start within the first "double" bhukti - and often there are several new "key" people introduced at this time.

Look for signalsof impending change - impatience with the old job, relationships, location -- people treating you differently, etc - if your change-denying survival instincts will permit you to acknowledge deep change!

You may not be able to use the information right away, but you will be given it very near to the beginning of the new mahadasha. An astrologer can see and confirm the changes that have coagulated on the astral plane, but you personally will need to set aside that voice of stability and social control which insists that " nothing has changed". Remember, anything which is naturally controlled by physical body systems is especiallyslow to change. E.g., appearance, skin, weight, food, sexuality, etc.

So, give it some time. By the onset of the new mahadasha, Auspicious spiritual changes are already completedon the spiritual plane. these new instructions are moving quickly through the mental and astral planes, en route to the material - if necessary.

It is most desirable of course to do most of your change work on the spiritual and mental planes themselves, where fast-paced creative inspiration gives shockingly fast results, and the body's survival/change-resistance patterns don't get in the way. Folks who do most of their karmic work on these higher planes (i.e. via meditation and creative visualization) are not much encumbered by the sloth of the material plane, and dasha-sandhi barely affects them.

However, even before entering the material plane, en route through the astral, emotional transitions get reactively sticky, and change is slowed. If consciousness of the changes doesn't arise until the change-force has reached the emotional [astral] plane, it will take most of dasha-sandhi for the changes to significantly impact the physical plane where they generate time-space tangible results.

Horasara
Notes: According to Jataka Muktavali, the following combinations indicate moles, scars etc. on the body of the native: If Yuvati Bhava from Lagn is occupied by ukr, or Mangal, or Guru, there will be a scar on the head. ukr, or Mangal, or Candr in Lagn leaves a mark through fire at the age of 12. Rahu in Randhr Bhava, while ukr is in Lagn causes a scar on the left ear. Guru in Lagn and Rahu in Yuvati Bhava leave a scar on the left hand. ukr in Randhr, or Vyaya Bhava and Guru in Lagn indicate marks on both the hands. If Mangal is in Sahaj, or Ari, or Labh Bhava along with ukr, there will be a mark on the side close to the left hand. Should Budh, or ani be in Lagn, while Srya is in Karm Bhava a mark on the right side should be noted. If Mangal, or Budh is in Lagn, while Rahu is in Putr, or Ari, or Dharm Bhava, a mole on genital organ, or anus may be found. ukr in Putr, or Dharm Bhava, while Yuvati, or Randhr, or Bandhu Bhava is occupied by either Guru, or Budh indicates a mark on the stomach. Should there be ukr, or Srya in Dhan, or Randhr Bhava, while Karm Bhava has Rahu and ani, declare a scar on the navel.

A mark on the waist may be found, if Karm Bhava is occupied by Guru, while Candr is in Dhan Bhava and Rahu with ukr is in Sahaj Bhava. On the anus will be found a mark, if Vyaya Bhava has Guru, while Budh is in Sahaj, or Ari, or Dharm Bhava and Candr is in Dharm Bhava. Should there be ukr and Rahu in Bandhu Bhava, while Lagn is occupied by ani and Mangal, there will be a symbol of fish in the palm, or sole, or ankles, (which according to Samudrika Shastr is a Raj Lakshana denoting a king). Hamsh Yog is supposed to give fish symbols in the palm, or sole, see notes under Sloka 8, Ch.16. The limbs of human body is divided by 36 Dreshkanas. Any particular Dreshkan occupied by a benefic indicates a mole and a malefic an ulcer on the particular part of the physique, see Sloka 26, Ch. II of Sanketa Nidhi. The 3 Dreshkanas in each Bhava represent limbs, respectively, as under, vide Sanketa Nidhi: a) Lagn: 1. Head 2. Neck 3. Pelvis. b) Dhan and Vyaya Bhava: 1. Right and left eyes 2. Right and left shoulders 3. Genital organs. c) Sahaj and Labh Bhava: 1. Right and left ears 2. Right and left arms. 3. Right and left testicles. d) Bandhu and Karm Bhava: 1. Right and left nostrils 2. Right and left sides (Pasharva) 3. Right and left thighs. e) Putr and Dharm Bhava: 1. Right and left cheeks 2. Right and left side of the heart 3. Right and left knees. f) Ari and Randhr Bhava: 1.Jaws 2. Right and left sides of chest 3. Right and left calves. g) Yuvati Bhava: 1. Mouth 2. Navel 3. Feet (according to some Vyaya Bhava indicates feet). The above is from Sanketa Nidhi, Ch. IV, Slokas 124 and 125, in which it is stated, that the limb corresponding to the Dreshkan receiving a Drishti from, or yuti with a benefic will have a mole, or mark. And a malefic in such a case causes its deformity, or ulcer on it. For example, if Rahu is in Labh Bhava in first Dreshkan, denoting right ear, he can cause either deafness, or an ulcer of right ear. The reader is advantageously referred to Slokas 24, 25 and 26, Ch. V of Brihat Jataka and also my English translation of Saravali. Ch. IV for relevant information. Given below is a brief account regarding moles etc. from Ch. IV of Mukunda Daviagnas Nashta Jataka (my English translation): Note the Ris occupied by Srya and Candr. The particular limbs, as represented with reference to Kala Purush, i.e. Mesh etc., will have mole and other marks.

The limb represented by the Ri occupied by Srya, or Mangal will have reddish marks, while ani and Rahu leave blue marks. Should ukr give a Drishti to Rahu, the limb indicated by Rahus Ri will have moles etc. Assume Rahu is in Mithun opposed to ukr in Dhanu. Mithun indicates arms of Kala Purush and hence there will be a mole (or scar etc.) on the arms.
