-All kinds of soil Note:(Refer CPWD specification clause 2.10.5) If the banking or filling is not consolidated to optimim moisture content the quantity of filling work out after actual measurement should be deducted by 10% to arrive at the net payable quantity. The measurement of excavation as prescribed in this item especially for consolidation, is not for consolidation with optimum moisture content. Hence the deduction of 10% quantity from the actual measured and calculated quantity to arrive a correct quantity for payment is mandatory. 2.10 Deduct for not rolling with power roller of minimum 8 tonnes for banking excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth.
