GEOMETRY (3103)
The first tessellation is found at the science park. The colorful painted bricks are used as the wall in order to decorate the science park so that it may attract pupils to visit it. It is formed from the congruent regular polygons which are rectangle by using translation. Each bricks are translated with the coordinate [ ]. For the first movement, the brick is slide 2 units to the right. Then, it slides 2 more units upright.

The fifth tessellation is found at the door of the school Access Centre. The door is decorated with lines so that it will have a better look. The tessellation is formed by using the concept of translation. The translation occur when A is slide 1 unit to the right to form A or with the coordinate [ ] Then, the translation continue when A is slide 1 unit to the right to form A or with the coordinate[ ]. This tessellation is repeated until a complete door is formed.

The second tessellation is found along the corridor in front of the school library. Besides that, it is also placed at the first floor to the third floor of the building. It is use as a safety precaution because it may prevents students from falling to the ground. The tessellation is formed by reflection through the vertical mirror line, y from A to A. Every points were flipped in the same distance from the vertical mirror line. This translation is then repeated until it makes a complete corridor.

The fourth tessellation is found at the window grille at the school computer lab. The grille is used to protect the window from break. In addition, it also used as a safety precaution to avoid any theft. This is a 4.4.4.4 square tessellation. This means that if we choose a vertex and count the polygons that touch it, we will see that there are 4 polygons and each has 4 sides. In image 9, A is reflected to A through the vertical mirror line, y. In image 10, A is reflected to A through the horizontal mirror line, y. A also can be reflected through the diagonal mirror line, y. Every points were flipped in the same distance and direction from the mirror line. The direction of the reflection can also be vice-versa.

The third tessellation which is teaching aids regarding syllable is found in the classroom. It was placed at the wall of the classroom as the reference for the students. This kind of tessellation is formed by rotation of 60 120 , 180 , 240 , 300 and 360 . It starts when A rotates 60 120 , 180 , 240 , 300 and 360 to form A, A, A, A, A and A respectively. The transformation repeated over and over again until the plane of the teaching aids is fully-covered without overlapping each of them.

The sixth tessellation is found at the school canteen which is on its floor. The floor is made up coloured bricks. The bricks are used to increase the friction of the floor so that pupils will not fell down. The tessellation also acts as a decoration of the floor by using rotation. There are 2 directions in rotation which is clockwise and anticlockwise. Image 15 shows that A is rotated to A by 90 clockwise while Image 16 shows that A is rotated to A by 90 anticlockwise.

The fourth tessellation which is the mural is found at the outside of the teachers room. The colorful mural is use to decorate the wall of the building. This kind of tessellation is formed by using glide reflection which is the combination of translation and reflection. The glide reflection starts when the blue square labelled A slides to A with translation with coordinate [ ]. Then, A is reflected to A by reflection through line y.
