Call to order: 12:36 Minutes approved unanimously Vicars report We will have a meeting about the diocesan white fund after Krista gets back from Lui. Alexandra will book us a table for the activities fair. Bishops Wardens report Kevin received an email from Kimi. She has questions on the parking plans. Current chief of police and his wife, who used to attend Trinity, stopped coming because his wife has a severe cat allergy. She cannot sit near cat owners in church. Can we arrange for a pet-owner-free pew? Would that work? Junior wardens report Steve and Cherie have each mowed recently. Julie and Sally will arrange a time to mow and trim hedges soon. Old business We need cooperation from the city for our diagonal parking. Treasurers report Krista emailed reports before she left for Lui. New business Kevin has a preliminary outline for a stewardship campaign. Krista is speaking on September 8. Cards will be distributed September 29. We might do a kick-off meal at the start of the campaign. Cards will be due on October 27, which is the same day the Bishop comes. o Idea of stewardship meetings at peoples houses with dinner or hors doeuvres. o Should we have people come up to the front to submit cards rather than just putting them in the plate? We discussed how to do this sensitively. Filling the Ford will happen Saturday, August 31. Alec will work on setting up a spreadsheet to help us record goods as they come in. That could save a lot of time. Childrens formation is uncertain. We need another meeting with parents and teachers. Human rights ordinance. Kevin backed off on letters to the editor because it was unclear when it was coming up for a vote. The city will probably vote again tomorrow. Events to welcome and engage students. The integrity material has arrived for display at the activities fair and Chamber of Commerce event. Bishops visit. We should do a lunch. We may have two confirmations. Kevin will be out of the country that day. Bishops committee commitment and nominations:

o Both Kevin and Sally will be rotating off in January. o It is important for members of the committee to commit to coming to the meetings, so that we can have a forum. o Should we go back to having our meetings at church? Maybe we could start earlier and it would force us to be more efficient (due to not being as comfortable!) Upcoming BC meetings: o September 8 at church o October 6, place to be determined We plan to have a fall clean up on Saturday October 19
