Designs by ETERI KHODNASHVILI Starry Night Star Skill Level Finished Size Approx 4 inches Materials Worsted weight yarn* (136 yds/50g per ball): 1 ball white #100 Size 6 (4mm) needles Fiberfll -inch-wide ribbon: 12 inches *Sample project was completed with Merino 6 (100% wool) from Trendsetter Yarns. Gauge Approx 5 sts = 1 inch/2.5cm in St st. Exact gauge is not critical to this project.
Special Abbreviation Make 1 (M1): Inc by making a backward loop over RH needle. Star Make 2 Cast on 8 sts. Row 1 (RS): K1, [M1, k1] 7 times 15 sts. Rows 2, 4 and 6: Purl across. Row 3: K1, [M1, k1] 14 times29 sts. Row 5: K1, [M1, k2] 14 times43 sts. Row 7: K1, [M1, k6] 7 times50 sts. Row 8: Purl across. Point Work on frst 10 sts only. Row 9: K8, k2tog9 sts. Row 10: P7, p2tog8 sts. Row 11: K6, k2tog7 sts. Row 12: P5, p2tog6 sts. Row 13: K4, k2tog5 sts. Row 14: P3, p2tog4 sts. Row 15: K2, k2tog3 sts. Row 16: P1, p2tog2 sts. Row 17: K2tog.
