The PLDP enables you to assess your skills against a standard framework and compare your personal strengths and areas for development with your current and future job requirements.
Today, if we want to go deeper subsea, if we want to have bigger and more complex projects, both offshore and onshore, and if we want to increase our capacity, push new technological frontiers and expand in different countries, its important for us to have project managers with the right skills and the right experience to accept these types of challenges. As we all learn differently, the PLDP offers a rich variety of learning methods to develop your skills
Learning through Experience-70%
The PLDP aims to have 70% of your learning on the job. This includes rotary periods, specic tasks, development of assignments in situ and on-the-job stretch assignments. Special job-stretch assignments may include getting larger scope or scale on an existing project, or being made a deputy to a more senior person. These will be specic skill-building tasks done during naturally occurring project events.
