Elastic Waterproofing Coating
Product Description
Cream consistence elastic coating, based on an styrene-acrylic copolymer in water dispersion, once is dried form a flexible, waterproofing and lasting coating. Comply with the UNE-53.413 standard for Flexible coatings based on polymer water dispersion, without reinforcement steel for buildings waterproofing in situ, applying on vertical facing. Used appropriate synthetic mesh reinforcement, comply with the UNE 53.410 standard for Flexible sheets based on copolymer water dispersion, with reinforcement, applying for buildings waterproofing in situ. Waterproofing accessible roofs coating over several surfaces : paving tile terraces, polyurethane foam spray-applied, fibre, cement, zinc, aluminium, wood, roof tiles, bricks, bituminous, mortars, concrete, asphalts sheets finished with aluminium or slate tiles, etc If the asphalt sheets have an anti-bonding film, it shall be burned prior to applying Sikafill. Running ~ water protection. Vertical surfaces, waterways etc. Cracks and joints bridging. Roof tiles and zinc futters restoration. Chimmey encounters treatment. To apply onto PVC or Polyether surfaces, and onto painted coating, carrying out a previous test on site to determinate its compatibility and if needed, apply a previous sandblast treatment. Waterproofing. High elasticity. Excellent weathering and aging properties. Easy to apply by traditional methods in cold weather conditions. Easy to homogenize. No presence of clots, furs and hard sediments. Good penetration in cracks and fissures and good resistance to microfissuration. Able to absorb expansion and shrinking movements without causing cracks. Good bonding to most surfaces : concrete, mortar, fiber cement, roof ties, bricks, steel, zinc, aluminum, bituminous. Water based. Non toxic, non flammable. Water dispersion based on copolymer styrene-acrylic. Oxidize-red RAL 3009, moss grey RAL 7004, white RAL 9003. 25 kg pails 12 months from date of production, whether stored properly and in original unopened packing. Must be protected from frost and stored away of sunshine exposures. Approx. 1 kg/l Approx. 60% Tack free: 2h. Full cure: 3-5 h. 350%. Min. 10 kg/cm2 No cracks. > 500mm high.

Elongation loss < 40%. Mass loss < 10% Elongation loss < 35% Roofs and terraces: at least 2 kg/m per two or more layers. 2 Vertical surfaces: at east 1 kg/m applied on two layers. The surface must be cleaned, dry free from grease, oil and loosely adhering particles to obtain a good penetration and adherence. Beat the product prior to use, in order to homogenize it. Apply with brush, wool or airless spray equipment. Mix at the ratio of 3:1 Sikafill, water by volume. Apply by brush or roller a coat of the mix. Make sure that the mix has penetrated in cracks and fissures. The priming must dry at least 12 hours in good conditions of temperature and humidity, then apply consecutive coats to get the desired thickness. Before to apply a coat, shall be totally dried the previous one. Depend on the uses, place onto the first wet Sikafill coat (not onto the priming), the fiberglass mesh reinforcement Armafill and cover it by a second Sikafill coat. The union of Armafill will be by overlapping 3-5 cm width. Fiberglass mesh. 64 g/m2 0,1 mm. Wrap : 19 kg/cm. Weft : 17 kg/cm. Packaging 1 m x 125 m rolls. Clean all tools and equipment with clean water immediately after use. Dont apply Sikafill in places where is possible a permanent contact with water. Sikafill is a finishing coating. When higher mechanical strength are required, use the Armafill system or any other reinforcement system compatible with Sikafill In accessible areas, it is recommended to use Sikagard -550W Elashtic, as protective coating. No place pricking tools on the treatment. No recommended under permanent immersion in water. Apply for a temperature : > + 5C. Apply no less than 2 layers of Sikafill onto the priming. Non-toxic.
