Introduction Local resources are all natural resources and people who owned an area or country. Every country has its local resources and they can become strength to s upport food, energy, and trade. The exploration of those strength also related with one of the purposes of IAAS that is to facilitate ideas in the field of agriculture and pre pares student to be able to solve agriculture problem they will face in the future. By bringin g global agriculture mission, it is expected to bring modern agriculture progress. Indone sia and other members of IAAS can share opinions and suggestions for agriculture progres s and agri-edu-tourism in Indonesia. As students on agriculture and related sciences, we can make agriculture as economics bases, to support food, energy, and trade. The 53th IAAS World Congress that takes place in Indonesia, aim to make people all over the world believe that Indonesia is a really interesting place t o be visited. Besides because it is based on agricultural economy and its beautiful sceneries, Indonesia pays so much attention on the diplomatic relation with other countries in the term of politics, social, culture, economic. As the purpose mentioned above, the delegates of 53th IAAS World Congress will be served by seminars themed: The Power of Local Resources to Support Food, Energy, and Trade: Food Security, Renewable Energy and Free Trade , paper competition and presentation, and excursion (field trips) around different Local Committees of IAAS Indonesia. As preparations for the World Congress 2010 are advancing we would like to take the opportunity to give you a first glimpse of what you can expect at next year s World Congress. As we know, World Congress is the highest position in IAAS to ma ke policy. For this reason, IAAS Indonesia have vision which is to Enhance IAAS Ind onesia position in IAAS International. This guidelines is one of preparation that alrea dy make by NC and also with several mission that have to bring in World Congress 2010. II. The Power of Local Resources to Support Food, Energy, and Trade: Food Security, Renewable Energy, and Free Trade Program : The World Congress 2010 will take place in Indonesia from July, 11th until August, 5th 2010 and organized by NC IAAS Indonesia. The World Congress will consist of General Assembly and Seminar with the topic : The Power of Local Resources to Support Food, Energy, and Trade: Food Security, Renewable Energy, and Free Trade. General Assembly is the highest assembly which the new policy being discussed and also decide a new excecutive committees of IAAS World. The wide spectrum of issues covered in these topics should make the World Congress an interesting event for everybody studying in the field of agricultural and related sciences. Developing and expanding of exchange program Asia Pacific 3. Participating and joining debate in the decisions of new Exchange Policy 4. Promote and expanding IAAS Indonesia project to the overseas stakeholder 5. Promote and develop IAAS Asia Pacific activity VII. Selection of Delegation Screener Board will screen the delegation candidate according to the following criteria: 1. Understanding the purpose of IAAS and IAAS Indonesia 2. Participate actively in local committee IAAS Indonesia minimum 1 year period 3. Registered as the alumni of BOS I in local committee 4. Participate as the organizing committee in local committee minimum twice a year 5. Understanding that IAAS World Congress is the biggest IAAS member gathering and also the highest policy maker in IAAS 6. Well understanding of the PD-PRT and also Constitution and By Laws 7. Prepare the funding start for about 40% from the total personal budget. 8. Able to speak, write and understand English 9. Able to work as a team with the other delegation ! 10. High willingness to secure the name of IAAS Indonesia specially and Indonesia commonly 11. If elected as delegation WOCO 2010 must attend National Congress IAAS Indonesia XV in Malang on February 2010 12. All mentioned in this guideline should be accepted by the delegation VIII.
