There is no need to anchor the yarns since the sts between these markers will be dropped and cut after the remaining sts are bound off. INSTRUCTIONS With 1st color of Berroco Vintage DK, CO 273 sts as follows: CO 14, PM (Marker A), CO 245 (place temporary markers as needed to help keep track of st count), PM (Marker B), CO 14. So youll K13, K1tbl, slip Marker A, knit the pattern sts, slip Marker B, K1tbl, K13 Work 5 rows of linen St, making sure to knit the sts between the markers as noted above. For the bind off, work as follows: Bind off first st before marker A, bind off the body sts, bind off the first st after marker B. Dont cut the yarn yet. You should have 26 sts remaining on the needles (see photo below).

Divide these fringe sts evenly between two needles, then pull the two needles so that you can see the bar running between the two center sts. Cut the bar between all center sts on every row. Take out the needles and pull all the sts until they stop at the twisted sts. Cut your bind off yarn to the length of the fringe and secure it with a slip knot. Block as desired, then trim fringe so that its all even.
