So if you are using Windows XP, there will be a Yellow Exclamation (!) shown in Device Manager. This package is to eliminate the Yellow Exclamation (!) in Device Manager. Refer to marketing materials to find out what ThinkPad models support the Intel Turbo Memory. If this package has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing) this package will fix problems, add new functions, or expand functions as noted below. To determine if you should update the software, refer to the Version Information section. Manual Install 1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges. 2. [Windows XP] Click Start, then click Control Panel. Click Performance and Maintenance, then click System. 3. Click the Hardware tab. 4. Click Device Manager. 5. Right-click PCI Memory Controller, then click Properties. 6. Click the Driver tab. 7. Click Update Driver. 8. Select No, not this time, then click Next. 9. Select Install from a list or specific location. 10. Click Next. 11. Select Search for the best driver in these locations and Include this location in the search. 12. Click Browse. 13. Locate the driver folder, then click OK. 14. Click Next. The driver installation will begin. 15. Click Finish. 16.
