Dear Friends, The following are three stories with different endings that I knew you would want

hear about. Ill adopt the babies! This was the response we received after we put out a prayer text alert through cell phones. Heres what happened: A client came in the doors of Piedmont Womens Center asking for an abortion. Truthfully its not all that unusual. Being located next door to an abortion clinic does put us in a wonderful position to greet those women God sends in our doors. He gives us the opportunity to offer them their way out. They are always greeted with truth; always. We know God honors truth. Right away we told her that we are not abortion providers, but here is what we do provide: free pregnancy tests, free limited OB ultrasounds, condential counseling and referrals for free medical assistance for you and your baby. But she didnt want any of this assistance. She already knew she was pregnant. In fact she knew she was carrying twins. She just didnt want these babies. We immediately put out an emergency prayer text alert. We are so grateful to those 150 or so who have told us, text me with an immediate prayer need. When we see the text alert, we will stop and pray. So we did, we all did. But this young lady wanted the abortion clinic so she left. We dont refer for abortions. And we made a point of not looking out the window to see if she drove next door. We are called to offer her the Hope of Jesus and information about her baby. Its not our job or responsibility to make her decision for her, so we released her to our God and prayed. Sadness lled our hearts. Thank you for helping to keep our doors open and lights on. You made it possible for us to offer her The One who wants to be her Way Maker, seeing her babies as a blessing and not a curse. Our Jesus! continued

My second story happened while I was grocery shopping one day last year. A neighbor from years ago stopped me to say some very precious words; Thank you for saving my grandson. I knew her story but I didnt know she knew Piedmont Womens Centers role in the story. Her daughter came through our doors planning to abort her baby if she found out she was pregnant. Yes, she found out she was. In fact she was 12 weeks pregnant. After her free ultrasound, and much love and counsel, she chose Life. When she was afrmed in her relationship with Jesus her journey became clearer. God had not left her. She could trust Him with this pregnancy. And with His help you could trust her parents to walk along side her. She is now married and her baby is now 8 years old! Our young client told her mother last year about PWCs role in saving his life. She wept as she said to tell everyone thank you. This little guy might even go to church with your child or grandchild. Isnt that something? Thank you for giving so this young mother has a story to tell instead of an abortion secret to keep. And then there is story number 3.A Salvation! A few days ago a young woman who had visited one of our clinics came back for an item she left behind. While visiting with her in a quiet room I told her I was so sorry I had forgotten to share with her and the friends that were with her about our abortion recovery ministry. I told her abortion affects all of us. Then I softly asked, have you ever had an abortion? God brought her back by herself to be able to answer that question, yes, but Ive never told anyone. The father doesnt know, my parents dont know, my friends dont know. As tears streamed down her face she said, Ive never told anyone. You are the rst person to hear these words. I told her there is a way to healing and recovery. There is hope and His name is Jesus. continued

She broke my heart with the words, He hates me! He could never forgive me for killing my baby. I asked her would she like to spend some time with us to talk about our Jesus who forgives. Oh yes, yes, I have time. Thats when I invited our staff member Sherry to step in and speak to her about post-abortion distress, and more importantly about our Jesus. It was a transformation! She left here changed by our Savior, Christ Jesus. She surrendered her Life, and left her pain at the foot of the Cross. I knew youd want to know...we have a new Sister in Christ! Three different, but real stories of the women and families touched by the ministry of Piedmont womens Center. Stories you made possible! A few weeks ago one of my board members visited a local church to share this ministry of life. After telling the pastor stories of babies saved and lives changed he said, I would be ashamed of myself as a pastor if I let you leave here without telling you I will commit to doing something for Piedmont Womens Center. I have to do more than say I am pro-life. I have to do something! We are so grateful to those who are doing more than just talking about protecting unborn children. They are praying, giving and volunteering. We need you to do something too. Please look at our response card and ask yourself, how can I put action to what I believe? Together lets protect the littlest among us, the unborn. Together in Christ,

Lenna Neill, CEO PS. Would you consider joining me in prayer and giving as generously as possible? Together we can end the tragedy of abortion!
