PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
Contaminant hydrogeologist and environmental project manager with proven expertise in the following: - Evaluating Nature and Extent of Contamination; - Contaminant Fate and Transport Studies (including LNAPL mobility and transmissivity modeling); - Environmental Site Assessments, Remediation, and Monitored Natural Attenuation; - Statistical Evaluations of Landfill Groundwater Data; - Groundwater Redox Geochemistry; and - Groundwater Age Determination.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY Golder Associates Inc. Denver, Colorado

Senior Project Hydrogeologist (2011 to 2013)
- Managed under budget four landfill environmental monitoring programs, including obtaining two new clients. - Evaluated nature-and-extent of contamination that was W yomings first for a landfill, which was approved by WDEQ without comments. - Saved a copper mine heap-leach facility millions of dollars by conducting many single well slug and pump tests of PLS and evaluating density corrected data. - Managed investigation of a subsurface diesel release, including a remedial options cost evaluation. - Developed a complex conceptual site model (CSM) to help a railway recover millions in remediation costs. - Evaluated LNAPL mobility for the CSM using APIs LDRM and Bail-down Transmissivity models. - Conducted or reviewed landfill statistics and reviewed junior staff technical reports. - Prepared proposals, HASPs and reports, conducted client meetings and mentored/trained junior staff.

Golder Associates Ltd. London, Ontario

Senior Project Hydrogeologist (2005 to 2011)
- Managed many environmental site assessments, contaminant delineations, and remediation projects. - Managed environmental component of four hydrocarbon emergency spill responses at a trans-Canada pipeline, a railroad, and a highway tandem-tanker rollover. - Developed and presented complex conceptual site models for railroad client that included LNAPL modeling. - Conducted geochemical redox evaluations of porous media and fractured bedrock sites. - Conducted a short term pumping test at a contaminated water supply well field site. - Prepared proposals, HASPs and reports, conducted meetings with clients and regulators, reviewed technical reports, and helped train junior staff.

University of Waterloo Waterloo, Ontario

Graduate Teaching Assistant (1997 to 2004)
- While obtaining advanced degrees was a teaching assistant for hydrogeology field school, introductory and advanced level physical and chemical hydrogeology, sedimentology and structural geology courses. - Researched groundwater age using the tracers: chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), tritium ( H), tritium/3-helium 3 3 18 15 ( H/ He) and sulfur hexafluoride (SF6). Conducted geochemical redox evaluations, including using O, N 34 and S isotopes. Evaluated the potential for using a new set of groundwater age tracers: hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) and hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).

Loureiro Engineering Associates Connecticut

Hydrogeologist (1992 to 1997)
- Brought a client with me from YWC for whom I managed/conducted environmental monitoring related to gas station UST removals at multiple sites. - Assisted large team with multimillion, multi-year DNAPL/plating metals RCRA projects, including two RFIs and one CMS/CMI. - Conducted initial planning to completion of environmental studies, client meetings, data evaluation and QA/QC. - Prepared proposals and reports (including three RCRA multi-volume reports in a team environment). - Supervised excavation contractors and drilling of soil and rock borings with monitoring well installations. - Conducted soil vapor surveys, including installing soil vapor probes and extraction wells. - Conducted/evaluated grain size analyses, soil permeability testing and single well response (slug) tests.

YWC Inc. Connecticut

Hydrogeologist
- Conducted Phase I, II and III Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and a RCRA RFI. - Performed maintenance of an air stripping and soil vapor extraction remediation system. - Sampled groundwater from monitoring well networks, reviewed analytical data, and prepared reports. - Prepared monthly NPDES reports, biannual monitoring reports and SPCC Plans. - Supervised multiple UST removals with contaminated soil excavation followed by groundwater monitoring.

Heynen Engineers Connecticut

Geologist
- Managed/conducted many Phase I, II and III ESAs. - Conducted hydrogeological investigations for land developers and presented results at Town Hall meetings. - Monitored wells and air stripper remediation systems at multiple gas stations, - Designed non-standard engineered septic systems, prepared reports and proposals, and was client liaison. - Installed soil borings, monitoring wells, sampled and logged soil and groundwater, and conducted lab soil permeability tests.
