BACKGROUNDOFTHEINVENTION Medicalsciencehasfoundbrainwavestobeausefulbarometeroforganic functions.Measurementsofelectricalactivityinthebrainhavebeeninstrumental indetectingphysicalandpsychicdisorder,measuringstress,determiningsleep patterns,andmonitoringbodymetabolism. Thepresentartformeasurementofbrainwavesemployselectroencephalographs includingprobeswithsensorswhichareattachedtotheskullofthesubjectunder studyatpointsproximatetotheregionsofthebrainbeingmonitored.Electrical contactbetweenthesensorsandapparatusemployedtoprocessthedetected brainwavesismaintainedbyapluralityofwiresextendingfromthesensorsto theapparatus.Thenecessityforphysicallyattachingthemeasuringapparatusto thesubjectimposesseverallimitationsonthemeasurementprocess.The subjectmayexperiencediscomfort,particularyifthemeasurementsaretobe madeoverextendedperiodsoftime.Hisbodilymovementsarerestrictedandhe isgenerallyconfinedtotheimmediatevicinityofthemeasuringapparatus. Furthermore,measurementscannotbemadewhilethesubjectisconscious withouthisawareness.Thecomprehensivenessofthemeasurementsisalso limitedsincethefinitenumberofprobesemployedtomonitorlocalregionsof brainwaveactivitydonotpermitobservationofthetotalbrainwaveprofileina singletest. SUMMARYOFTHEINVENTION Thepresentinventionrelatestoapparatusandamethodformonitoringbrain waveswhereinallcomponentsoftheapparatusemployedareremotefromthe testsubject.Morespecifically,highfrequencytransmittersareoperatedto radiateelectromagneticenergyofdifferentfrequenciesthroughantennaswhich arecapableofscanningtheentirebrainofthetestsubjectoranydesiredregion
