TERMS AND OFFERS FOR APPLICANT WRITERS





Please read this carefully before applying notice to all
applicants
While all writers are encouraged to apply for publishing
with BWR, theres no guarantee that everyone will be
accepted. At BWR, we must adhere to a strict level of
quality control as we want to offer quality products to our
readers.
If you are not selected after applying, DO NOT BE
discouraged. We are willing to work with you to improve
your writing style and help you develop the skills necessary
to succeed. There is no limit to how many times you can
apply with us. Keep on trying, you may then eventually be
accepted.
Every writer, including professional ones, has certain
weaknesses. The road to becoming an accomplished writer
is not always an easy, but with hard work and dedication it
is possible to achieve greatness. BWR is here to help you to
become a successful writer, and get your masterpiece
published. Youre books are you legacy. So be patient and
keep practicing.

Plan Scheme for Contract Authors

Plan 100
First year: 100% profit goes to the writer.
Second Year: 60% will go to the Company and 40% will go
to the author
Third Year onwards: 40% will go to the company and 60%
will go to the author
Locking Period: 5 years with notarized contract

First 6 months: 100% of earnings will go to the writer

Publishing Details

Keeping 100% royalty for one year. It is important to us
that you succeed as a writer. For this reason, we offer a
period of one year from the published date for writers to
retain 100% royalty for every e-Novella (e-book) sold, with
the exception of Plan 60/40. This one year time frame will
help the writer get established at no cost at all. A year
after, a small fee of 60% per sale will be incurred, marked
at a three or five-year minimum term depending on plan
elected. We want to reiterate that the plans full term is
manuscript-based, not author-based; Bookworms Realm is
not holding the author exclusive but only his
manuscript/s.
While the locking period on elected plan is being served,
under no circumstance should the author submit the
manuscript to other publisher/agent for printing, digital
subscription or purchase and other forms or means.

Hardcover/Paperback printing option. Having a book
printed is very expensive, and in some cases, time-
consuming. Bookworms Realm offers the option to have
your book printed en mass at some point after being
published. This is not something that BWR paid for
independently. What we offer is a method for you to accrue
an amount over time in order to physically print your book
if you wish. The way we accomplish this is by placing your
money into your own earning statement. We will find the
best prices available and you will be notified when your
earnings is enough for printing. There is absolutely no
obligation for you to save your own money for printing; it is
only an added convenience, plus you will always know
when your money is as we post a shared file of the sales
tally real-time. Hardcover books are a new feature to the
Philippines and Bookworms Realm is the first to offer
hardcover in the hearth of Philippine Romance.
International Distribution. Simply put, you will be
noticed. Since we have an international reading base, you
will be read anywhere in the world. OFWs are nearly in
every country. Since we offer kindle and/or e-book options,
distribution is totally not a problem, thus, adding
convenience to Filipinos in foreign countries.
Establishing your writing career. Starting with
Bookworms Realm is the fastest and easiest way to get
your foot at the door of the writing world. There is no
obligation to write for us indefinitely, just the locking
periods imperative to the plans stated above, but we
ascertain you get started right on the track. Since we value

individuality and diversity at Bookworms Realm, we give
valuable feedback and techniques without altering your
writing style. While you may not be wealthy at the end of
your writing stint in Bookworms Realm, you will definitely
find a level of success with us.
Free book covers and advertisement. One of the
problems plaguing Filipino fiction books, especially
romance novels, is the lack of quality and original artwork.
Its sad that even established publishing houses googled,
copied and edited images or recycled cover arts from
previously published books. To help sell your books, we
offer free advertising and book covers designed by imagery
shouldered by BWR. Your book cover will be saved and be
made available should you decide to print your book. You
will never find googled images making up your cover
designs. To us, professionalism is of utmost importance
and we believe that book cover should not stop at the title.
Being published in one month. Being published in one
month is the cornerstone of our operation, and as such,
the writers should understand what this means. After a
writer has applied, those who are found to be good
candidates will be contacted for publishing selection. At
that point, their works would be carefully proofread and
edited to completion for sale, thereby ensuring top quality.
Whilst proofreading/screening and/or editing, the staff will
strategically campaign and increase awareness for
upcoming title/s. All aspirants will be notified of the status
regularly. Only after all books are screened and edited will
they be published and will be available on the Bookworms

Digital Book Shelf for sale, thus the one month wait time.
In cases when manuscript would merit a heavy edit, we
may extend the editing period to a maximum of 90 days.
Open-genre policy. We accept all forms of literature
covering nearly every genre (with the exception of lit-erotica
and/or pornography) such as romance, suspense, horror,
paranormal, supernatural, fantasy, sci-fi, action, chick lit,
comedy, drama, ad infinitum, written in English and/or
Filipino. Novels intended for more mature readers would be
screened with utmost scrutiny until evaluation proves
justification for the plot and authors execution.
Retaining rights to personal work. You made it, you keep
it! Thats the way we look at it. Other publishing houses
are only looking for the bottom line, MONEY, and as a
result, will take all rights to your intellectual property. Not
the Bookworms Realm, we are in it for the writers. You
have worked long and hard developing your skills, you
shouldnt lose your property in what amounts to selling
your very heart and soul. Keep your rights and profit from
them, again, you made it, you keep it!
Termination of Contract and/or Agreement. Once a
manuscript gets approved for publication, one month is
allocated for editing, proofreading, press release and
advertising. The selected plan for term commences on the
day the book is officially launched for
subscription/purchase.
The writers pen name is subject for approval by the
Company. If the author is already a published writer at

other legitimate publishing houses, the author has the
option to retain his/her pen name provided that the author
owns the right for the pen name in question.
A letter of intent must be forwarded to Bookworms Realm
(postal or through electronic mail using the authors
registered email address in Bookworms Realm Directory,
this is the email address indicated in your BWR Application
Form). In order to ensure proper distribution to subscribers
(for there might be pending orders or incomplete paypal
transactions), a thirty-day rolling period would take place
after we received your withdrawal letter.
This means that we will wait for thirty (30) days to officially
take your eNovella/s (ebooks) down from our websites and
digital bookshelf.
It is to be understood that upon withdrawal of manuscript,
regardless of reason, under no circumstance could the
author use the book cover as it remains a property of
Bookworms Realm.




NOTE: Everything contained herein applies to the digital publication of your
works only. A separate discussion will be made for printed works.




Frequently Asked Questions

How will you publish our books?
We have the novels available in two formats; The
Digital and Paper Printed format.
The subscribers purchased and we forward the
secured PDF files. BWR has its own program or
software that locks the e-Books with passwords. This
exclusive software keeps the files safe from printing
and copy pasting.
Do you print paperbacks?
Yes. We print paperbacks on demand by the readers or
market.
What will happen to my rights over my book?
The author/s will retain the rights to his/her story.
After the expiration of contract, the author either will
submit a letter of intent or pull out all her works from
the company. BWR value their authors and we are
writer-friendly institution.
What about the payment terms?
BWR is not offering a contract to sell for the stories the
writer submitted. We paid the authors based on their
sales.

Not unless, the company offers a contract to sell and
the author is willing to that option.
The profit and sale details will be discussed privately
between the author and the publisher.
How can I submit my manuscript?

What else do you required to the authors?
Every publishing has its own customs and standard.
The applicants should undergo online writing
workshop so he/she can fit to the publishers criterion
before signing the contract.
We also required heavy editing. Before submitting their
works to us, they must have their scripts proof read by
several proof readers and have them edit first. That
way, it wont be time consuming to both parties.
How long will an author wait for his/her manuscript
feedback upon submission?
Minimum of 30 days up to the maximum of 90 days.
If the books were printed and published, where will the
readers buy it?
Itll be available at NBS Shelves. We also offered
delivery via phone and online orders.
