College Student: Being a college student is a big part of my life. I go to college seventeen hours a
week. My biggest goal is to receive a Ph. D. in Pharmacy, I also want to receive a minor in Chemistry. With my Pharmacy degree I aspire to get a good paying job in my field of studies. I want to become a licensed pharmacist not just a pharmacy tech. Because I have a scholarship I have to maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher in order to keep my scholarship. This means that I have to keep my head I the books most of the time to keep up with my grades. College requires a lot of studying, and homework. To keep up with my classes sometimes I join a study group to help with the struggle of keeping good grades.There are special vocabulary words that I need to know as a UTEP student. Some big examples include, Blackboard and GPA. Family/Friends: My main goal with my family and friends is to be there for them emotionally and physically, through whatever they may need. I need to keep in touch with my family/friends in order to be there for them. One big genre in my family is love. Love sticks us back together through rough times. Even through rain or shine I always manage to have fun with my family and friends. Some of these fun activities include, cookouts and family parties. Retail worker: I work at a shoe store named Shoe Carnival. One of my main goals in my job is to become to general manager from my workplace. Even though I know that it might be a tough job to have I know that I could be a great leader and manage it very well. Even though this is one of my biggest goals at my workplace I legally cant become a manager till I turn twenty-one. I usually work 3 different types of shifts. Two of them include, to be a cashier and run the microphone. Running the microphone refers to me announcing the special promotions that occur throughout the day. I have to run the mic and be cashier at the same time. The third type of shift that I have is to attend to the customers in the Childrens department. Not only do I have to attend to the customers Im also responsible that the department stays clean.

Role model: I want to be the best role model I could be to my little brother. I want him to be inspired with my accomplishments. I want to inspire him to become a productive member of our society. Even though as a young teenager I might not have been the best role model, by graduating college and being a good person I hope I can convert into being a good role model. I dont want my brother to ever feel like hes alone, so I let him know that we will always stay together.
