Jihad-struggle against evil not terrorism

The non- Muslims render into their language the word "Jihad as the "Holy War",thus changing its real meaning and significance.For them it connotes malice,greed,fanaticism and bloodshed. ven Jihad is considered as similar to terrorism. !s now the world is facing the challenge of terrorism this view"oint among non-Muslims and even the so called Muslims gets more strength.The Muslims are considered res"onsible for the current situation.These Muslims are the Talibans#the fundamentalist sunni from !fghanistan$.They see% to establish "uritanical cali"hate that neither recogni&es nor tolerates forms of 'slam divergent from their own.The Taliban(s version of 'slamic law, or )haria,is historically inaccurate,contradictory,self-serving and fundamentally deviant from "revailing inter"retations of 'slamic law and "ractice.They have "resented the "icture of 'slam to the world in a way that those who have no %nowledge about 'slam can not differentiate between terrorism and Jihad.*oth terms are greatly misused,while there is no similarity between them. Jihad is an 'slamic term used to describe one(s duty towards 'slam.'t stands for struggle.This struggle can be to "rotect one(s country,religion,family,or to save someone else(s life.Jihad is always "erformed for !llah.Jihad is inter"reted as the struggle against evil, internal or e+ternal of a "erson or a society. While Terrorism is the act of trying to instill feelings of terror in the general "o"ulation by acts or deeds.The sole "ur"ose of terrorism is to cause enough harm, "ain and agony to someone to ma%e him feel insecure. The word Terrorism would normally be used when referring to systematic e"isodes of mass destruction or %illings. 't would not be normally used to "etty crimes. 't has nothing to do with religion as neither 'slam nor any other religion in the world "reaches destruction and %illings.Terrorism is often fueled by materialistic or territorial goals generally with no regard to religion Terrorism is always directed towards the %illing of innocent civilians and may be by way of e+"losions, attac%s, etc, while, ,ihad is not "ermitted against innocent. !cts of Terrorism attributed to the Taliban or any other Muslim grou"s or organi&ations must not be e-uated with 'slam. 'nstead, if one acts li%e a Judge or a Jury, he or she will evaluate their actions in the light of in,unctions of Holy .uran , the "ractice of the Final /ro"het of 0odMuhammad #"eace be u"on him$ and his com"anions and the Four rightly guided 'slamic 1ulers #may !llah be "leased with them$ after him before saying any thing false about 'slam because 0od and His 1eligion #'slam$ are "ure from in,ustice, unholy, merciless and cruel "ractices. 0od !lmighty !llah teaches even to forego our rights to "lease one who is angry with us or even our enemy, and to ma%e him ha""y by such acts so that he sees the beauty and truthfulness of 0od(s 0ift #that is 'slam$ and is liberated from the )atan(s influence and the "ath of Hell Fire. 0od commands us to do ,ustice even with our enemies because doing ,ustice with all is the one of the im"ortant criteria for being a believer in !llah and the sign that a believer is not ,ust a believer but he is a True and obedient servant of 0od who disli%es ma%ing his 2ord !ngry. We can(t ,ust say that we believe in !llah, the 0od who is Just and then in the same breathe act mercilessly with the "eo"le, es"ecially women and children, without caring for their needs and sentiments. 'slam is the religion of ho"e,faith and "eace.'t never tolerates un"rovo%ed aggression from its own side3 Muslims are commanded in the .ur(an not to begin hostilities, embar% on any act of aggression, violate the rights of others, or harm the innocent. ven hurting or destroying animals or trees is forbidden. War is waged only to defend the religious community against o""ression and "ersecution, because the .ur(an says that ""ersecution is worse than slaughter" and "let there be no hostility e+ce"t to those who "ractice o""ression" #.ur(an 45678-679$. Therefore, if non-Muslims are "eaceful or indifferent to 'slam, there is no ,ustified reason to declare war on them. The .ur(an describes those "eo"le who are "ermitted to fight5 "They are those who have been e+"elled from their homes in defiance of right, for no cause e+ce"t that they say, (:ur 2ord is !llah. veryone has the freedom to ado"t any religion in 'slam it never s"read by force.
