Talking Energy Meter

The purpose of this project is to build a KWH (Kilo Watt Hour) meter that can alert the users with voice messages. An Energ meter or KWH meter is a device that measures the amount of electrical energ supplied to or produced b a residence! business or machine. Electricit is a clean! convenient wa to deliver energ . The electricit meter is how electricit providers measure billable services. The most common t pe of meter measures "ilowatt#hours. When used in electricit retailing! the utilities record the values measured b these meters to generate an invoice for the electricit . The ma also record other variables including the time when the electricit was used. The idea behind this project is to construct the Energ $eter that is useful for illiterates and the bus people who cannot concentrate on the energ meter readings because of their bus schedule. This s stem helps the users b alerting them about the pea" loads (ma% energ consumption)! power status (&'(&)))! billing status etc. The voice alerts could be in an local language. Hence this s stem can be used across the world.
