Websites http://www.animoto.com: Is a website that pictures can be inserted, captions added and music selected to create a slide show for a presentation. I selected this website/app because it is user friendly for 1st graders to create a quick snap shot of their creations in class that is interactive and visually stimulating. Students love to share their creations with the class and this website provides the opportunity for presentations to be given to the class in about 30 seconds. https://www.flatstanley.com : Is a website dedicated to everything Flat Stanley. I selected this website to help the students with the creation of their own Flat Stanley by providing examples. I also kept this site bookmarked as a good resource for the Flat Stanley project. http://www.mentormob.com : Is a website to create online lessons. I chose this site because I wanted to create a reversed flipped classroom so students and parents could reference the online lesson to create a family project about a trip they took. This site is a great way to organize a lesson into steps and is very user friendly that students and parents alike could navigate. This site also allows videos and slide show presentations to be embedded into the lesson. http://www.mindmeister.com: This website is a great tool for creating web maps and graphic organizers. This website is great for brainstorming and organizing research topics that is beneficial for all learners especially visual, EL students, and students with special needs. I chose this website because it is relatively user friendly and with my assistance students will be able to create their own web map. For this lesson the students created 4 web maps with a partner on the 4 seasons and included the different types of climates. This website allows for saving the different web maps and under the same username, I would be able to show the students via ELMO all the web maps created by each pair of students as a whole group presentation.
