Updated: Oct 2 2013 Desired Expertise: Coil Tubing, Operations Manager Experience: 5+ years Minimum Education: Bachelors/3-5 yr Degree Salary: Salary+ Quarterly Bonus Location: ND, US Reference Code: CTOPS1 Employment Type: Full Time Salaried Employee Job Status: Active / Open >Job Description: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES * Coordinates and supervises activities of service or technical personnel via personnel assignments, job or project management, administration and technical support. * Managing personnel, equipment, and product to meet customer requirements.

* Ensures job quality control by scheduling appropriate personnel, equipment, resources, reviewing technical aspects of job, and making sure jobs are done per customer requirements and Company policy. * Reports to and acts on behalf of the District Manager in his absence. * Participates actively in quality improvement efforts. * Organizes and directs service operations. * Monitors daily progress of jobs and projects. * Provides technical guidance and work direction to field staff. * Company liaison during the job; main client contact. * Responsible for the safe operations of work and with compliance of company standards. * Conduct all business activities in accordance with HSE policies, legal compliance requirements, * Handles special projects as assigned. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS * High School diploma or equivalent. * Bachelor's degree preferred. * 3 - 8+ years experience in Oilfield Operations / Supervisory role at a District Level, or other equivalent experience. * Strong supervisory skills. * Safety oriented with the ability to successfully lead multiple crews. DESIRED / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Comprehensive understanding of product line(s)/service(s) in an operational area or district. * Comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and market conditions. * Previous experience in a district operations management role preferred. * Advanced knowledge of company's business practices including strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, Health Safety and Environmental (HS&E) and compliance. * Understanding of continuous improvement. * Intermediate to advanced computer skills to include Excel and SAP. * Advanced financial aptitude. * Strong mechanical / mathematical aptitude. * Ability to direct and manage people. * Problem solving capabilities. * Team leader with a positive attitude. * Strong ability to multi-task. OTHER DETAILS Requires field travel, some overnight travel expected This is an office operations role that may at times require work in the dirt and on rig sites; wearing PPE/HSE attire.
