The Learning Story : Erin was sitting at the shapes corner doing patterns out of the shapes blocks. She told her friend that she was making a windy grass. Look at my windy grass, it move on that side because the wind was blowing strong from here (pointing her at her left). My grass is special because is very colourful and with many shapes. You like my windy grass? She was interacting with Sophie while playing. Sophie explained to Erin that she was making something special for her mom. Sophie : I am going to the park today. Erin : What is a park? Sophie : Is a park for children to play. Erin : I also went to a park bigger than your house, guess what, the side touch the sky. Sophie : Wow thats big.

Learning Outcome 4Children are confident & involved learners Erin explore ideas and theories using imagination, creativity and play Learning Outcome 5Children are effective communicators Erin use language and engage in play to imagine and create scripts and ideas with her friends. She experiment with ways of expressing ideas through puzzle Possibilities and next: I would like tp provide Erin more colourful materials such as beads, puzzles, paper that enable her to create pictures and ideas. Analysis of Learning : Through this experience, I observed that Erin enjoy doing puzzles. She knows the shapes and colours well and was able to use descriptive words to explain what she was doing. She interacts well with her friend and understands the concept of left and right.

Child views: I like to play here because they have all my favourite colours. There are grass, blue, orange and many. Too bad there is no pink and purple, I like them too. Can we have pink and purple shapes so I can make more stuffs.?

LEARNING OUTCOME 1CHILDREN HAVE A STRONG SENSE OF IDENTITY Children feel safe, secure and supported. Children develop their autonomy, inter-dependence, resilience and sense of agency. Children respond to diversity with respect. Children become aware of fairness. Children become socially responsible and show respect for the environment. Erin loves to engage herself with hands-on and creativity materials. She loves to play with the interactive games that she had on her computer that her dad bought for her. She could create pictures, draw and paint using the software. She also used that to create story and get her dad to print it out for her. Erin enjoys making cards with colourful materials at home. Children develop a range of skills & processes such as problem solving , enquiry, experimentation, hypothesizing, researching & investigating. Children transfer & adapt what they learned from one context to another. Children resource their own learning through connecting with people, place technologies and natural and processed materials. Through this observation, I have noticed Erin interest in making patterns using the shapes/blocks provided at the corner. She shown creativity ideas through her creation and also able to use words to explain and describes what she had done. She shown confidence in her learning and able to share ideas and interact well with her friends. Erin Teacher views:
