4.4 Ratio of PS-HSDPA Call Drop

Index No.: 300330 Index Name: Ratio of PS-HSDPA Call Drop Object Type: Cell Index Description The index is used to describe the ratio of PS HSDPA call drops within the specific cell.

Application The index helps to get information about the probability of call drops when the UE is performing PS-HSDPA services within the specific cell. It also reflects the reception performance that the user is performing services within the specific cell. Call drop within the RNC refers to that the RNC initiates to release RAB due to improper causes. The formula below calculates the ratio of call drops due to improper causes. Causes of proper release includes user inactivity, signaling connection release generated by the UE, O&M intervention, overload control, and RAB preemption. Index Type: KPI Data Type: Percentage Formula Description SUM (Cell data. Number of PS HSDPA RABs improperly released by the RNC (on service type/rate).
