Objective
I am a junior at Arizona State University in the W.P. Carey School of Business and plan to graduate in the Fall of 2015. During my time at Arizona State I will be working part time to help with my expenses and gain experience. I will live right next to campus for convenience to work and school. I hope that after completing college I can find a job that I love become financial successful.

Skills
In high school I played on the school basketball team which helped build my teamwork and communication skills. Also, I have a lot of customer service experience from past job experiences. I am also a member of Hands on Greater Phoenix where I have done community service work. I am focused and like to get things done not only in school, but everything I do in life. I am a hard worker and a leader.

The field I chose to research was a marketing manager. As of right now I have no concentration picked, but I am in the W.P. Carey School of Business. I have always been interested in marketing so I took a look at it. I found out that marketing managers require at least a bachelors degree with between 1-5 years of work experience in the field. According to the BLS the job outlook from 2010 to 2020 is an increase of 14%. Also, the average income in this field is $108,000 which looks amazing to a college student like me. In 2010 there were 216,800 jobs in this field and the number is only growing.

I was excited when I found this listing because it is something I would really be interested in doing. Prudential is a very well-known realty company in California. The company has over 47,000 agents and 1,400 offices. The job description is asking for a Real Estate Advertising Manager and states that the salary is between $50,000-$100,000. I think that this would be an excellent fit for my idea of a future job and the fact that it is in California is even better for me.
