O Allah, I seek forgiveness from You over my sins that I have once repented, which I have committed again, And I seek forgiveness from You for myself over what I have said to You from myself (a vow, nazar or promise), of then which I have not fulfilled And I seek forgiveness from You, for the graces You have given me of which I used them to commit sins. O Allah, I seek forgiveness from You for every grace that I have hoped for your Pleasure but I have then wrongly enjoined it in matters other than You. I seek forgiveness from You over all that has manifested in my heart which is not worthy of Your Great Majesty. O Allah, I seek forgiveness from You from every (moment of) heedlessness and distraction which has happened to me in my acts of obedience to You. O Allah, I seek forgiveness from You from every sin that I have committed in the darkness of the night and in the clarity of the day.

O Allah, please do not punish me as You Are All Knowing of what is in me and O You (Allah) punish me not as You Are All Powerful overme And may Allah bestow His selawat and salam over our Master (Prophet) Muhammad, his family and companions Translated by Muhsin Hamzah.
