LeRoy Burcrof believes that integrity-driven leadership, outstanding customer
service, safe neighborhoods, fnancial stability, and a business-friendly city
administration are important areas for the next Mayor of Romulus to focus on.
LeRoy Burcrof will bring professionalism, integrity and fairness to Mayors Ofce
LeRoy believes that providing outstanding community
and customer service is the mission and purpose of local
government. He will lead with integrity as well as
encourage and invite citizen participation and involvement
in all aspects of our local government. As Mayor, he will:
Develop a City of Romulus Ethics Ordinance and
Professional Conduct Policy for all elected ofcials,
employees, and vendors to follow.
Implement a community outreach program to
ensure that citizen participation, fairness, and
transparency is utilized in all phases of local
government.
Create a Youth Commission to assist the city with meeting the programming needs of our children.
LeRoy Burcrof believes that safe neighborhoods are the cornerstone of a communitys reputation
LeRoy supports the concept that safe and stable neighborhoods are the
cornerstone of a communitys reputation and that our residents deserve a safe and
clean atmosphere to live and raise our families. As Mayor, he will:
Expand the existing Neighborhood Watch Program to ALL neighborhoods.
Work to increase our community policing and neighborhood police patrols.
Enhance the enforcement process, as well as the Citys clean-up eforts, by
addressing blight and other neighborhood nuisance issues that negatively
afect our homeowners and neighborhoods.
LeRoy Burcrof is the ONLY MAYORAL CANDIDATE with experience in business development and
fnancial management
LeRoy has worked for the company Bearing Services, Inc. for the past 30 years, of which over 25 of those years
were in upper management positions. He currently serves as Vice President of the company and recently was
elected to the Power Train Distributors Association (PTDA) Nationwide Board of Directors. To recruit and promote
new business development throughout Romulus, he will use his knowledge and real life experience in business
planning, fnance, customer service, and communications. As Mayor, he will:
Work with the City Council to eliminate some of the unnecessary red tape to make Romulus a more
business friendly community, which will enable us to promote and recruit new business development for
our vacant land, thus bringing new jobs, resources, and services to our residents.
Work with other local governments and members of the business community to explore partnerships,
as well as consider the joint sharing of services and equipment when economically and contractually
feasible.
Work to ensure the city is frugal with your tax dollars and utilizes sound and efective business practices,
which will ensure our continued fnancial success and overall long-term economic stability.
The Burcrof Family
LeRoy Burcrof was born and raised in
Romulus. He married his high school
sweetheart Jerilynn Kain and together
they have raised three children. His
father, Dean Burcrof, a U.S. Navy
Veteran, was a Romulus volunteer
frefghter and local business owner.
LeRoys mother, Shirley Burcrof, was
a school teacher at Romulus High
School. LeRoys parents instilled the
sound values of honesty, hard work,
commitment and community service to
all their children. Like his parents, LeRoy
is extremely active in our community.
