Experiment 2.1
In this experiment we have applied piecewise transformation to map the given image on new values. And we have drawn the transformation curve according to that. The second part of the experiment we have used LUT values to map the same image according to LUT values. Finally we have applied the LUT transformation on image moon.tif. The outcome of experiment is that the image enhanced and adjusted via LUT is nicer.

Experiment 2.2
In this experiment we are given two images, rego-gn.tif & 'rego-mb.tif', on first image we have applied median filter because we have recognized that this image has salt and pepper noise. We noted that by applying median filter several time improves the results nicer and nicer. While on the other hand by applying wiener filter using wiener function has also given use so nice results. On image 'rego-mb.tif' we have found PSF of motion filtering and by applying decovwnr2 we tried to eliminate the motion effect of image and make it nicer via this method though its not so smooth and nicer but a little bit we are succeeded in doing our best.

Experiment 2.3
In this experiment our goal is to find weather magnitude or phase information is significant for extracting most information of the image. We used two types of images in this experiment, 'test_pattern.tif & woman.tif. We applied fft of first image and extract it phase information and here we found that we are a little bit able to get some of information of the image, if we fine improve our image restoration techniques we can get most information of the image. In second case we found the magnitude information of the image from which we tried to extract image we are unable to found any information of the image. Thus this experiment shows that most the information of image is in phase or carrier instead of magnitude as given in the lab manual.

Experiment 2.4
In this experiment we have tried to enhance the image quality by applying low pass Butterworth high emphasis filter and then we used the built in histogram equalization function. For this experiment we have used chest.jpg image. Our results from this experiments are that the built in histogram equalization gave us better results than by getting from Butterworth high emphasis filtering.

Experiment 2.5:
For this experiment we are given a video clip, heart_original.avi according to the lab manual we have converted avi file to individual images, now we have applied histogram equalization on the individual image to improve its visual quality, we found histeq as a best choice of applying on this video to improve its visual quality. Now finally these individually enhanced images are again joined together to make its, appear as an avi video. Look how much our video quality is improved. Defiantly it is.
