Dear Friends in Ciirist,

had two very large snow storms and low

would snow and thus instead of writing a letter we would be outside trying to open

It seems as if every time we started to put out this long-delayed letter that it

able to get rid of a lot snow. The snow banks

are down to about a couple of feet. We hope to

Sometimes i t is difficult to find a time when the Christians are free

to get together.

But the first

week of January is one time of year when no one is working. Therefore,

on January first the Christians and others that were interested met

together for a time of study and

fellowship. At noon we had a meal

of sweetened beans with pounded rice cakes, (It really is better

than it sounds.) After lunch there

was free time. Some played Bible related games, some visited, some
discussed the Bible.

On February 23rd there was a baptism at the Christian Church in Hill City, Kansas,
when our first grandchild was baptized into Christ. We rejoice to see the grandchildren following the Lord. We hope and pray that all our grandchildren will
make this choice.
