PowerSHAPE 2012 Installation

This release is labeled 2012 and is a full install. Each version will have its own service packs. Make sure you get the correct service pack when updating PowerSHAPE. 1) Place the DVD in drive. On a 64 bit system, you will have a choice of installing the 32 bit or the 64 bit version. Select 64 bit for the best performance. On Windows XP, you will not see this screen. Select Next to continue.

2) You must accept the license agreement to continue. Select Next to continue.

4) Choose the Install option. If you do not know what version you purchased, select PowerSHAPE. Do not press install yet. See next step.

NOTE: POV-Ray is the replacement for Lightworks rendering in PowerSHAPE. This is a free program that PowerSHAPE will use to do all rendering of the CAD model. If you do not do any rendering, you can unselect this option.

5) Make sure you select Exchange 2012-R3. If this is your first install of PowerSHAPE on this computer, select Native Translators. Make sure you have PafWizard 2012 checked as it will be the tool to help solve PAF related issues. Press Install to begin Page 3 of 4 CAD CAM Systems, Inc. 7) If you are using Windows 7, you must start PowerSHAPE the first time using the right click option Run as Administrator.

8) Check for updates thru PowerSHAPE. At this time there are updates available to download.
