knit creeper below CROCHETED Two - Piece Creeper Set Sizes 1 and 2 This Set can be made with the following:"DAWN" NYLON or NYLON POMPADOUR or "DAWN" INFANTS WOOL or "DAWN" BABY YARN 8 (9) ozs. Buttercup or color desired. 1 oz. Baby Blue or any contrasting color for trim. Steel crochet hook No. 1. Plastic crochet hook No. 2. 9 Buttons. GAUGE: 7 patterns = 2 inches. 8 sc = 1 inch. Directions are given for size 1. Size 2 is given in brackets. CARDIGAN Ribbing: With Buttercup and No. 1 hook ch 13 (15), sc in 2nd st from hook, 1 sc in each remaining st of ch, ch 1, turn. 2nd Row. Working in back loop of sts only, work 1 sc in each sc, ch 1, turn. Repeat 2nd row until there are 72 (80) rows, 36 (40) ribs. all ribbing is worked in this manner. Working across long side work 74 (82) sc across ribbing, ch 2, turn. Working across long side work 64 (72) sc across ribbing, ch 2, turn. Change to No. 2 hook and work in pattern same as on Cardigan, increasing 1 st on each side every 6th row 3 (4) times, 35 (40) patterns. Work even in pattern until work measures 6 (7 ) inches from beginning. Next Row. Decrease 1 st at beginning and end of row, then decrease 1 st on each side every row 9 (12) times more. Then decrease 2 sts on each side every row until 14 (18) sts remain, 7 (9) patterns, cut yarn. FRONT SECTION: Work same as back section. Block each section. Sew side seams.
