Topic : Used to/Didn't use to Book: New English File Pre-Intermediate Student's Book Unit: 7C Class Length: 1 hour and 40 minutes
AIM
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use Present Perfect expressions related to 'have been', meaning the places they visited.
TIME

INTERACTION PROCEDURES Teacher Elicit from the students some of the adjectives used to describe people. x Students Write the adjectives and the meaning on the board in two different columns, in a mixed order. Ask the students to match the two columns.

i. In pairs, students will open their books on page 100 and will answer the questions from "Are you jealous?". ii. Teacher asks the questions to some students.

i. Students will read and listen to the text about Rob and Charllotte deciding where to go on their holiday. After that, they must do the exercises on letter b. ii. Students will compare their answers with a classmate. iii. Teacher will correct the exercise and explain the meaning of some word the students do not know.

i. Answer the grammar exercise (2 - GRAMMAR) on letter "a" and "c". ii. Students do letter b exercise on page 139. iii. Teacher will correct the exercise.

i. Students will listen to the listening file 9.2, so they can get used to the pronunciation of "have been" forms. ii. Students role-play the dialogue, using cities of Paraiba, such as Campina Grande, Patos, Cajazeiras, and so on. i. Students go around the class asking each other the questions on "5. SPEAKING". ii. Teacher will check the answers by asking the questions to students in a random order.

If there is some time left, it will be played "Where have you been", by Rihanna, in a fill the gaps activity. Students will do the exercise in pairs. In the end, some of the expressions will be studied.

Students will be evaluated by their participation in class, as well as by their results in the exercises.
