TRAINING STATUS T P U (circle) CONDITION: While conducting combat operations, the company suffered casualties requiring treatment and evacuation of personnel. TASK STANDARD: 1. The company treats casualties with buddy aid within 5 minutes. 2. The company provides or coordinates transportation of all casualties to the battalion aid station. 3. The company evacuates all wounded without causing additional injury. 4. The company consolidates casualty feeder reports and forwards them to the battalion trains. NO GO TASK STEPS and PERFORMANCE MEASURES GO +*1. Company XO and 1SG plan for casualty treatment with the senior company medic. a. Designate company casualty collection point. b. Determine casualty evacuation routes. c. Plan disposition of the casualties and their weapons and equipment. d. Plan for security of the casualty collection point. e. Ensure all elements of the company choose aid and litter teams. +*2. Company commander/leader supervises evacuation of the casualties. a. Identifies evacuation requirements. b. Coordinates additional support requirement with higher headquarters. c. Requests higher headquarters to evacuate casualties from the company area. d. Provides pickup site location and area security status. e. Provides estimated number of casualties. f. Disseminates evacuation information to company personnel. g. Forwards spot casualty report to higher headquarters. +3. Company members prepare casualties for evacuation. : . . a. Identify visible/apparent injury or conditions. b. Load as many casualties as possible, with the most seriously injured last. b. Secure casualties in vehicle. c. Transport casualties without causing further injury. +7. Company members evacuate chemical casualties. a. Wear protective mask and MOPP gear. b. Mask casualty and protect from further contamination. c. Decontaminate casualty prior to evacuation. d. Mark contaminated casualties. 8. Company members evacuate EPW casualties. a. Maintain security of EPW casualties prior to evacuation.

b. Evacuate EPW casualties by the same standard as used for friendly casualties. *9. Leader submits a casualty feeder report (DA Form 1156) to the 1SG or designated NCO in accordance with the unit SOP.
