Stereotypes Explore stereotypes and subcultures Educate teenagers on different groups in society and how they are prejudiced and stereotyped against Although stereotyping is considered negative, this is only because of the way we, as society, judge those who are different. In fact, many stereotypes we use are true. Different subcultures in society have different interests, music tastes, styles, appearances and beliefs. Ther efore, they will act in a typical way. This isnt to mean that all people in the certain group act exactly the same, but typical behaviours will be associated with each group. We could explore this argument in detail, gathering the opinions of the public, professionals and the subcultural groups themselves about the topic.
Although this may be an issue that has already been addressed and people are aware of, it is still an issue in todays society. We are all very passionate about this topic and believe that it will provide the basis for a good, entertaining and interesting documentary.
