Attainments:
Currently managing successfully the overall activities of 4 operation sections (152 pots ) and
2 start-up sections with 94% current efficiency and 99.84 average purity in operation section
within a short span of 7 months of start-up.
Successfully completed the great pending occurred in smelter plant in BALCO due to black out
in power plant by giving record shift operational output and beating the set target ( target- 20
pairs of anode change and 18 pots tap per shift. Shift output- 32 pairs of anode change and
20 pots tapping in a shift).
Played a major role in introducing the idea of batch operation in smelter plant ie- same type
of operation in a particular shift like metal tapping in 1st shift, anode changing in 2nd shift and
remaining job and other miscellaneous jobs in last shift. This system helps a lot in avoiding
the pending operational jobs which occurs every now and then otherwise.
Got CEO kitty award twice for best resource utilisation.
Hands on experience in pre baked technology based pot lining.
Handled the crisis during strike thrice in BALCO and twice in VAL effectively to keep smelter
plant running smoothly.
Spent continuous 72 hours in smelter plant during local resident strike to keep all operations
running as per schedule.
Implementations of 32hrs operational schedule at VAL jharsuguda,orissa.
