FILIPINOS ARE LAZY HOW DARE YOU DOWNGRADE MY RACE AS LAZY!!!!! LET ME ANSWER BACK HISTORICALLY AND FACTUALLY

Unanswered were deliberate tirades and fallacies on Migrant and Ethnic Pro-Chinese authored books about Filipinos and Philippines. Was there any Filipino writer who ever answered the Chinese and Ethnic Chinese notion and blatant insinuation that Filipinos are lazy? (If there is none, I will and I have ansered them in most of my writings long time ago). Are Filipinos accepting this as a fact? This mind conditioning insulting notion was one of the products of Chinese and Ethnic Chinese propaganda blown out of proportion. They have made this issue and others maligning the Filipinos a continuous subject of their books and write-ups and at present accepted as a fact rather than fiction as nobody dared to repulse it. FILIPINOS ARE LAZY is a big lie, a product of their propaganda to further downgrade Filipinos that they claimed inferior to them. The notion that the Filipinos are lazy came from the Spanish colonizers in their time. They said that the Filipinos are fond of gallivanting around, not fond of farming, trade and work. (The same observations they made with the people of their other colonies at Mexico and Acapulco). During that time, mostly the Chinese did all the works in the colony. They were the shoemaker, the storekeeper, the water fetcher, the toolmaker, the carpenter, the mason, the farmer, the herbalist etc., while allegedly the Indios (natives or Filipinos) were just in their homes or elsewhere spending hours and hours of their time in socializing. Carried was the said observation from generations to generations and written repeatedly in reference, history and other literary works mostly authored by Chinese in the Philippines most of it, (if not all) remains unchallenged. The most damaging person who pursued and made this insulting notion famous throughout the world was Jose Rizal, the Ethnic Chinese pride of Chinese in the Philippines. Immortalized was this notion in his shameful work La indolencia de los Filipinos or The Indolence of Filipino People published at La Solidaridad from July 15 to September 15, 1890. Allegedly, he wrote this very damaging literary piece in response to the tirades of the Spaniards to the

supposed Filipino indolence. However, instead of repulsing it strongly, HE ACCEPTED IT AS A FACT, ADMITTED TO THE WHOLE WORLD IN WRITING THAT FILIPINOS ARE INDEED LAZY. One should understand that Jose Rizal was talking about a race, the Filipino race in general who he was not even a part of in truth, being a Chinese Mestizo. For more than 17 times in that work, HE ACCEPTED OVER AND OVER, AGAIN AND AGAIN THE SUPPOSED INDOLENCE OF THE FILIPINOS, further maligning and insulting a race by giving impoverished reasons, allegations, suppositions and justifications as to why it happened. Contained in the Chapter about Rizal in this work were the details of this great blunder). Later, comparison was drawn and the indolence issue was raised and used again and again as propaganda, The Filipinos are lazy thats why they are poor and not progressing while the Chinese in the Philippines are very patient, industrious and diligent in their trades and works thats why they are very, very rich. It now became a justification for the Philippine Chinese position of wealth and comfort in this country. This justification or should I say BRAINWASHING was accepted and not challenged too for so many decades. Directly and indirectly, there was a sort of acceptance. Are the Filipinos lazy? I beg to disagree! Going back, during the Spanish era, the Filipinos were not working so much because they do not know the works. They just know farming, fishing and other trivial jobs, as they were just simple backward (?) tribesmen compared to the Spaniards and even the Chinese whose cultures were higher. The Chinese did carpentry, masonry and other works because the Chinese who came to the Philippines were really carpenters and masons in their country. However, due to the colonization for 327 years of the Spaniards (and Chinese as well) the Indios were created and crafted to remain backward, uneducated, belonging to the lowest level of the society. The Chinese and Pro-Chinese Mestizos on the other hand, THE CONJUGAL PARTNER of the Spanish colonizer remained as workers for all the jobs in the colony: traders, shopkeepers, restaurant operators, etc., later on graduating from being a mere worker to company owners, proprietors, landowners, farm owners, business owners and the like. The plot to make the Filipinos backward, un-knowing, subservience, left behind worked and can be felt up to this time . Ginawang Tanga (Made as stupid).

THE TRUTH: Hundreds of thousands and now millions (and still counting) of Filipinos are working abroad. These mean the Filipinos are in demand to work abroad. As an overseas worker before at Saudi Arabia, I can attest to the fact that our host country so as the Americans and Europeans who worked as Managers and occupying the highest and higher positions in that country prepared to work with Filipinos than other nationalities there. They like the Filipino industriousness, positive work attitude, easy to deal with decisionmaking and perseverance in work conditions. IN SHORT, THE RETHORIC OR PROPAGANDA THAT THE FILIPINOS ARE LAZY WAS A BIG LIE, A PRODUCT OF DIRTY MINDS TO MALIGN A RACE. If Filipinos are lazy, how can you justify the hiring of so much of our brothers and sisters for works abroad, about one million just in the year 2006 and Billions US Dollars remittance? Moreover, this demand is continuous even in global economic crisis that we are experiencing at present. If Jose Rizal is alive today, the Overseas Filipino Workers and even their families will definitely rally in front of his gate and shout invectives against his RACISM. One might reason that the Filipinos of today maybe different from Filipinos of yesterday. Maybe the Filipinos of today are not lazy, but maybe the Filipinos of yesterday were lazy as admitted by Ethnic Chinese Jose Rizal. If one will go back to the real history of Filipino people (as contained in this book), one will understand the lies about the issue. In 982 AD, the Kingdom of Moi was mentioned in the records MaTuan-lin, author of Wen-hsien-tung-kao, an encyclopedic research. MOI (which refers to early Filipinos) and some of its inhabitants landed in Kuang-Chou (Canton) with goods and treasures. This marked the first contact. It was clear that our tribes were the first to visit China and not the other way. The purpose of the visit was to trade. Established also was the fact that Filipinos were the first to use the sea route connecting Fukien and the Philippines through southern part of Taiwan and not through Brunei that was the regular trading route that time. The point was the enthusiasm of the Filipinos to trade (they brought their products and produce) to experiment new things, new route, to reach out not minding the difficulties and dangers of travel to foreign lands were highlighted in this ancient records of them. Was this laziness? During the time of Rizal, when he wrote his shameful insulting admission, he enumerated so many suppositions that allegedly caused the laziness of Filipinos. Never given as a reason in his dull

justification the thought that the Filipinos does not like to work, weave, farm etc., as a sign of protest against the Spanish colonization and not brought by innate indolence as he wrongfully thought. (More discussion on this are contained in the Chapter about the Chinese leaning Jose Rizal in this work)
