The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) continues to monitor and inspect transmission lines and other facilities affected by the passage of Typhoon Santi. Line inspection and patrol ongoing. 2. Botolan-Candelaria 69 kV Line AFFECTED AREAS: Municipalities of Iba, Salaza, Radio Veritas, Kabayan, and Candelaria, Zambales. STATUS: Line tripped on 12 October 2013 at 2:18 AM. Line inspection and patrol ongoing. 3. Botolan-Castillejos 69 kV Line AFFECTED AREAS: Municipalties of Botolan, San Felipe, Cabangan, San Narciso, and San Antonio, Zambales STATUS: Line tripped on 12 October 2013 at 2:41 AM. Line inspection and patrol ongoing. 4. Mexico-Cabanatuan 230kV Line AFFECTED AREAS: None STATUS: Line tripped on 11 October 2013 at 11:31 PM. Line inspection and patrol ongoing. 5. Line inspection and patrol ongoing. 14. Cabanatuan-Pantabangan/MHEP 69kV Line AFFECTED AREAS: Municipalities of Munoz, Aliaga, Guimba , Quezon, Licab, Sto. Domingo, San Jose City, Carranglan, Pantabangan, CLSU and Talogtog, Nueva Ecija STATUS: Line tripped on 11 October 2013 at 11:23 PM. Line inspection and patrol ongoing. Please note that loss of power may be caused by affected transmission facilities of NGCP or distribution facilities of local distribution utilities or electric cooperatives. Specific cities and municipalities affected by the power interruptions are determined by concerned Distribution Utilities, unless the outage affects the entire franchise area. Necessary preparations and precautions have been implemented to minimize the impact of the storm on NGCP operation and facilities. These include ensuring the availability of

hardware materials and supplies necessary for the repair of damages to facilities, as well as the positioning of line crews in strategic areas, to facilitate immediate restoration work. Aerial patrol, inspection, and restoration of lines in the affected areas will be in full swing as soon as the weather allows. ###
