DLN 1+ Combustion System for Frame 6B Single Digit NOx emissions levels
To help satisfy revised government regulations and business requirements that demand cleaner emissions and more operational flexibility, GE Energy has enhanced the Dry Low NOx (DLN) technology on 6B gas turbines. This enhanced product, a product of GE's ecomagination initiative, is built upon years of leadership and experience in the area of combustion technology to reduce NOx levels. The new DLN 1+ combustion system for 6B gas turbines achieves less than 5 ppm (10 mg/Nm3) NOx and single digit CO when operating on natural gas at base load. This system helps our customers comply with local regulations requiring NOx and CO reduction without impacting gas turbine performance. GE can adjust the NOx and CO system emissions levels to conform to the customers site ambient conditions, load range and emission requirements. The new DLN1+ system can be installed during a combustion, hot gas path, or major inspection outage and has a target combustion inspection interval of 24,000 hours, based on natural gas operation.
