User Datagram Protocol: Ports using only UDP (all others are using UDP and TCP). Required: This status marks a port that uniFLOW requires. There are two main symbols: uniFLOW requires this port. uniFLOW does not require this port. It is only used if the service or device is used.

Network Ports of the uniFLOW Server

The following ports can be used by uniFLOW, not all are necessary! Whether these ports are required depends on the requirements of the customer. R Port

Web services of uniFLOW. Almost the whole communication from uniFLOW uses this port. These ports can also be used for the uniFLOW web services. The embedded RPS web server runs by default on this port. The embedded uniFLOW web server runs by default on this port. The uniFLOW Internet Gateway printer driver supports the port which has been used for the communication between the uniFLOW server and the uniFLOW Internet Gateway web server. Please refer to the appropriate table.

Network Printing Ports (Sending Print Jobs)

These ports for network printing depend on the configuration of the customers network. This configuration has to be done by the customer. We include these ports only for the sake of completeness. This port range is for sending print jobs to the network. R Port Name

Access Addresses of Canon Devices

Here is some additional information on RUI accessing Canon devices. This information is required when you configure device agents on a uniFLOW Server. The web server architecture of Canon devices varies according to the models. Earlier machines can be accessed only by entering the IP address, while machines with newer technology or additional controllers use different ports and paths for a correct functionality. Address

Machine family
Restricted functionality for the iR1600/2000 Full functionality for the iR2200 and upwards to iR105. Machines with controllers like a CLC3200 with a C1 or a M2 controller attached on an iR105. The RUI of all machines with the new MEAP technology, because of the new web server architecture, can be found at this location.
