It is said "no learning is possible without any proper guidance & no research endeavour is a solo exercise , some contribution is performed by various individuals." The project entitled " LEAVE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM at Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (Pipelines Division), Noida" was a challenging assignment for me .I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to various people for their contribution to this project, Mr. Rajat Goyal (SHRM, IOCL,Noida) and Ms. soumya srivastava (Information system officer , IOCL ,Noida) for their valuable support and help in collecting data required for the project . special thanks to be given to Mrs. Rama Srivastava(programme director) , my research project supervisor for her professional guidance and valuable support.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project aims at providing employees and management members of IOCL, Noida with the information that can be beneficial both personally and professionally. Every business enterprise has multiple objectives including adequate profit for payment of a reasonable rate of return to the owners and for investment in business through satisfaction of customers, maintenance of a contended workforce and creation of a public image. The basic job of management of any organisation is the effective utilization of available human resources , technological, financial and physical resources for the achievement of the organisation objectives. This project entitled as LEAVE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AT IOCL (PIPELINES DIVISION), NOIDA was done to evaluate the satisfaction level of employees towards online leave management system at IOCL, Noida. The study undertakes various efforts to analyse the various factors of leave system in great detail. From the study, some of the important issues regarding online leave management system by the employees were found. It is also clear from the study that the company is so eager in developing their employees so as they can meet with the changing need of the technology. The human resource can play an important role in the realization of the objectives. Employees work in the organisation for the satisfaction of their needs. If the human resources are not properly motivated, the management will not be able to accomplish the desired results. Therefore, human resources should be managed with utmost care to inspire, encourage and impel them to contribute their maximum for the achievement of the business objectives. This project work helps to increase the efficiency and management of human capital without retargeting the work efficiency within the department or over the organisation.

The project helps to allocate the leave efficiency and also optimise the leave system to get the real time and value for scheduling the work for the present & future as per human capital or work force available to execute the work efficiency of the organisation.
