WORK EXPERIENCE

Mechanical Engineer 9/2004-present


Intralox L.L.C.

Worked in the Manufacturing Engineering Group. Responsible for managing new product
release and developing equipment to meet the needs of seven international assembly operations.
Later transitioned into a role involving large efficiency projects including the application of PLC
and computer based automation. Both roles required extensive machine design and the use of
Solidworks to design parts and equipments from concept to reproduction and support.

Mechanical Engineer 5/2003-9/2004


Jacobs Engineering Group

Mechanical Engineering project lead. Managed mechanical equipment on large oil and gas
refinery projects including the design and implementation of centrifugal and reciprocating
compressors, pumps, vessels, and heat exchangers. Also responsible for developing RAM or
reliability modeling software and equipment databases for several projects. Developed several
Excel and C++ based application still in use at Jacobs in Baton Rouge, LA.

Audubon Engineering

Constructed a Mechanical Integrity Program based on a number of documents including API


570, API 650, ASME B31.3, AND ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Div.1 Section VIII
and Section II. Spent three weeks implementing the program at the Dynegy gas plant in Venice,
Louisiana.

Assistant Service Manager 5/2001-2/2002


Audubon Engineering

Managed a crew of 7 service technicians, trained new automotive technicians, placed orders for
supplies, sold and performed work as an automotive technician. Automotive work performed
includes: Replacing head gaskets, CV axles, brakes, suspension, fuel pumps, and computer
diagnostic work.

Engineering Intern 5/2000-9/2000


EDG Inc.

Conducted a vent study to incorporate changes on a platform off the coast of West Africa.
Assisted in extensive debottlenecking and desanding project.

 Experienced with machine tools including lathes and mills, CNC and manual.
 Experienced in MIG and TIG welding.

ACTIVITIES/HONORS

SAE Mini Baja 2003


Recruited and managed a group of eight, diversely talented, mechanical engineering students in
the design and fabrication of a competition off-road dune buggy. Successfully competed in two
SAE competitions involving over 150 Universities. Placed 1st in Design at the Midwest
Competition and received the Rising Star award.
