PALARO NG BARANGAY PROJECT DESIGN

I. RATIONALE The promotion of sports, among other fields of endeavor in the nation building, play vital role in developing a sound and responsible citizen, such an undertaking provides favorable conditions in enhancing unity. Friendship and cooperation and thus promotes goodwill among our people. Such sports activities develop positive traits such as discipline, determination, efficiency, patience, hard working and team building .it teaches our people a deep sense of responsibility and tenacity in facing lifes challenges and prefers with proper perspective of human relations and organizations. It also encourage that all participants to this Palaro ng Barangay give their best during their competition, for in doing so, they lay the ground work for excellence in our community. II. OBJECTIVES GENERAL 1. To create greater awareness of the vital importance of sports human life and provide the citizenry better opportunities for the sports participation to reduce or reproduce able bodied citizens possessing talents, skills and positive attitudes w/c will ensure lifelong gainful physical endeavors. SPECIFIC 1. To mold century towards the development of their minds, heart, hand and body 2. To strengthen discipline, perseverance, team work and challenge for the citizens to excel. 3. To encourage mass based sports program in the lowest level of competition.

III. POLICIES AND GUIDELINES To ensure the effectiveness and efficient organization, participation and management of the Palaro ng Barangay2013 the following guidelines should be observed. 1. Eligibility Requirements 1.1 players in basketball must be a bonafide residents of this Barangay 1.2 Players in basketball must be 15 years above. 1.3 Maximum numbers of players for team

REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPINES PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN MUNICIPALITY OF IGUIG RESOLUTION NO.06-2013 A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF TWELVE THOUSAND PESOS FOR THE CONDUCT OF PALARO NG BARANGAY. Whereas; in line with the promotion of sports. This Barangay will be conducting a Palaro ng Barangay starting may to July 2013. Whereas; this activity will be participated by youth in the barangays aims to enhance the spirit of sportsmanship and commander and ultimately promotes goodwill among the people. Whereas; such activity needs budgetary requirements hence there is a need to allocate the amount of twelve thousand pesos for their purpose. Whereas; the barangay treasurers has certified the availability the funds for the palaro ng barangay Now therefore; on motion of KAGAWAD RODRIGO ERRO duly seconded. Resolved as it is hereby resolved; to allocate the amount of twelve thousand pesos(12,000.00) for the palaro ng barangay. Treasurer BASKETBALL 12 PLAYERS 2.1 RULES GOVERNING THE GAMES The international rules shall be applied in this; in addition, the following ground rules shall be observed. 2.1 defaulting time- all teams not in the playing court within 30 mins. After the scheduled game time, shall lose the game by default. 2.2 Unsportsman like conduct First offense: suspension one game Second offense ban.

2.3 Alternation/ insertion/ impersonification are not allowed any team which violates this grounds rule shall be called the game by forfeiture. Commission of the same offense for the time, bans the team from further compensation 2.4 No player shall allow without the proper uniform and outfit. 2.5 Officially registered coaches, assistant coaches and players are allowed to sit on the bench, any teams that violates this rules shall be dealt with accordingly by the officiating officials 2.6 No coaches, assist coaches, player of officiating officials with alcoholic breath shall be allowed to be involved in the game. 2.7 Conflict occurring during the game in relations to the rules shall be settled by the officiating officials w/ in the period of 15 minutes.
