Introduction
The GSM Radio Frequency Unit (GRFU) is a Radio Frequency (RF) unit based on the multi-carrier technology. GRFUs are installed in the indoor macro base station (including the BTS3900 and the BTS3900L) and the outdoor macro base station (namely, the BTS3900A). They are usually used in scenarios requiring large capacity.

For S1, S2, and S3, the 8PSK output power is the same as the GMSK output power with the improvement in hardware capability. For S4, S5, and S6, the 8PSK output power is the same as the GMSK output power with the optional feature GBFD-118104 Enhanced EDGE Coverage enabled.
