Why Use Renewable Energy?

Today the modern world depends directly of electricity because all the technologies created works with this. However, for to produce electricity it is used nonrenewable energy like: oil, natural gas and coal. The quantities of these resources are finite and cause environmental damage. In contrast, if it is utilized renewable energy, this is a energy derived from natural resources that replenish themselves over period of time without depleting the Earths resource, will not exist environment damage, and consequence, this will provide an energy source infinite, clean and the same time will create new jobs because to use this kind of energy is required many skilled labor. In fact, the renewable energy solves the world biggest energy problems. Indeed, clean energy is one of the characteristics that define renewable energy because to produce this energy does not emit the greenhouse affect like; carbon dioxide (CO2), ozone (O3) or sulfur dioxide (SO2). The most harmful of these gases is CO2 because when it is released heats the atmosphere causing a global warming in the same time causing serious climate change on the planet( United States Environmental Protection Agency,2011). For this reason, the renewable energy each day is used every day more. For example, the wind energy is renewable and clean energy. Electricity is produced when the air powers a turbine and the same way this power a generator producing energy; therefore, it can get electricity cleanly of an inexhaustible source like the air. This is the most important cause why it is better to use renewable energy.

Before, an inexhaustible energy source was a dream for many Scientists, but if it utilizes of efficient way the renewable energy likes: strong wind, sunny skies, heat from earth, and fast- moving water; these can make this dream in reality. Whether these are combined, supply the electric power system produced by all kinds of renewable energy in the same time, renewable energy source have the technical potential to supply 482,247 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually. This is 118 times the amount of electricity the U.S.A. currently consumes (National Renewable Energy Laboratory, 2012).This unique property will be exploited if it is applied all at same time and on a large scale. But, it is necessary to make a huge investment to install a new electrical system; therefore, too it is necessary much manpower build this system. So, use renewable energy also result in millions of new jobs. In fact, the creation of new jobs is one of the most attractive consequences of the use of renewable energy. For it to install a new energy system is necessary to have a lot of money, however, it is necessary much labor force like: financial advisors, engineers (electrical, civil, mechanical, electronics and industrial), heavy equipment operators, designers, etc. As result, the lack of employment could become eliminate, greatly improving the economy and the lifestyle. For example, in 2011, the solar industry employed approximately 100,000 people on a part-time or full-time basis, including jobs in solar installation, manufacturing, and sales (The Solar Foundation, 2011); the hydroelectric power industry employed approximately 250,000 people in 2009 (Navigant Consulting, 2009); and in 2010 the geothermal industry employed 5,200 people (Geothermal Energy Association, 2010). Therefore, the renewable energy brings a better and safe lifestyle: zero

pollution is the same as health improvement, the cost of living will be lower because produce will cost less and will ensure the survival of humanity. Finally, the best way to save the planet and save humans is using renewable energy, because this provides the needed electricity to live safely and continuously creating permanent jobs. At the same time, it eases the planet from the environmental damage caused for the use of fossil-fuel. In the fact, Renewable energy is the only way to become independent of oil, and in addition, to being the primary source of energy that does not affect the planet and it can use .Thus, this is the true evolution of modern world, but without sacrificing the planet.
