LESSON OBJECTIVES a) b)
Write and complete at least 3 out of 6 sentences correctly based on the stimulus given. Write and create a diary with guidance. : Action words (tidying, watering, sweeping, washing)
LANGUAGE CONTENT
EDUCATIONAL EMPHASES: a) Contextual learning: Able to relate their daily life to the lesson. b) Multiple Intelligences: Linguistic intelligence, making association and predicting MORALE VALUES: Responsible CCTS: Transferring information from non-linear text to linear in a diary. PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE : Pupils already knows about action words. ANTICIPATED PROBLEM : Pupils are reluctant to give cooperation due to their language level. TEACHING RESOURCES : Pictures, a diary sample, task sheet 1 and 2
Teaching-Learning Activity 1. Teacher pastes a picture of a diary. 2. Pupils respond by guessing what kind of book in the picture. 3. Teacher uses Hang Man game to introduce the word; A Diary. 4. Pupils spell the word; Diary. 5. Teacher asks pupils whether they have a diary. 6. Teacher explains the Picture definition of a diary. 7. Pupils listen to teachers definition attentively. 8. Teacher explains the activity of the lesson.

1. Teacher pastes an excerpt of a diary. 2. Pupils read and talk about the content of the diary. 3. Teacher asks pupils to describe the diary orally. 4. Pupils respond by describing the features of a diary. 5. Teacher explains the features of a diary. 6. Pupils listen to teachers explanations attentively.

1. Teacher distributes a sample of an incomplete diary to the pupils. (Task sheet 1) 2. Pupils listen attentively to the teachers examples on how to complete the diary. 3. Teacher explains the instructions of the task sheet. 4. Teacher guide the pupils to complete the first sentence. 5. Pupils complete the diary based on guidance. 6. Pupils check their sentences together with teacher. To check students understanding of the lesson. To enhance pupils listening skills.
