Statement of the Problem This study aim to determine the studies on how to make an organic fertilizer with banana

stalks and sawdust. Significance of the Study This project may be beneficial to the farmers because they can use this nurseries or even backyard planting/farming. This can also be beneficial to the Department of Agriculture because this can be used in agricultural farming. Results and Discussion

Findings: For trial 1 and 3, we found out that the shredded stalks were still fresh and elongated after 14 days of fermentation. Data Analysis: Based on the findings for trial 1 and 3, we found out that shredded stalks were still fresh and elongated after 14 days of fermentation. It was also observed that water which was produced

from the sap of the shredded stalks were still high at level. The harvest compost trial 1 and 3 were too wet compared to trial 2. Therefore, trial 2 is preferred compared to trial 1 and 3. Summary Based on our output it says that trial 1 and 3 were not ready or was not successfully fermented after the days of fermentation. We found out that shredded stalks were still fresh and elongated in trial and 3. Trial 1 and trial 3 shows that their moisture content is higher than their organic matter content. While in trial 2 it shows 50% of organic matter was seen rather than the other trial that only shows 25% for trial 1 and 35% for trial 3. Trial 2 is more effective than the other trials because of the organic matter content which is quite higher than the two trials. It is important that there will be higher content of organic matter because this is the one that will give nutrients to the plant because the higher the organic matter content, the faster accumulation of vitamins for the plant Conclusion In order to make an effective organic fertilizer using banana stalk and saw dust, you can use trial 2; trial 2 is better than the other trials because trial 2 has the lesser moisture content and has the bigger organic matter content that is suitable to make an effective organic fertilizer. Effective microorganism is necessary in composting because it helps in the rapid way of decomposition which will take 3 months or more. Recommendation Production of this fertilizer is from saw dust and banana stalk yielded positive result. With the basis, the researchers recommended the adaptation of this new organic fertilizer to the market and also we recommend applying this organic fertilizer in a sandy load soil to provide the needs of the plant to grow healthy and to be more productive.
