The Role of UN Policy in Achieving Sustainable Development in Cases of ROLE OF GAS EMISSIONS TRADING GREENHOUSE in Indonesia Muhammad Mirza

Indonesia is a tropical country that has the potential of forest resources, both existing forest on land and at sea underwater forest that is often referred to as coral reef marine park. These potential can produce a high enough oxygen levels as well as levels of carbon dioxide that plants use for photosynthesis. But now, many state forests in Indonesia are experiencing illegal logging that causes global warming is an increase in air temperature and sea level looks at the state of Indonesia, so that the current government very aggressively to hold a replanting and forest rehabilitation.

Actually many conditions of the potential of forests in Indonesia, therefore the carbon trading occurs because Indonesia is a nation state which inaugurated the conference which followed the Kyoto Protocol because Indonesia is a country that is able to reduce greenhouse gas emissions globally through the potential owned forest resources. *So many of the countries in the world which produces a lot of emissions to compensate the country of Indonesia is an example that occurred in West Sumatra and East Kalimantan.

In a situation like supposed to be, the United Nations participated and took his role as rules. The highest Organization which is responsible of problems occurred, such as carbon trading its happen in the world. Involving several Advances and developing nations as well as bears dignity of human life. There have been many cases, both in providing funds to countries who invest funds to provide compensation for countries that have forests, until countries who receiving compensation fund of clarity about the flow of funds.

There are some countries that have provided fund to Indonesia which is currently a object of reducing carbon emissions. Australia one of them, has provided 47 million Australian dollars of funds Indonesia. However, whether the diversion of funds is carried out according to the rehabilitation in Indonesia, or just flow of funds that we together do not even know it. Thas is where the UN should provide to giving a rules. Regarding the provision of funding and care protected for use as a reduction carbon emissions of the world. When carbon trading independently occurse and not a firmness of the United Nations will getting occur uncertainty. That is can result in of sustainable development in Indonesia, especially in conservation of the forest as a protected animal life. Overall we can not accuse the UN and government, but what we can doing now as a youth people in dealing of problems carbon trading especially in Indonesia. Therefore, from the action taking place of free carbon trading that occurred in the country of Indonesia to the proper role of the young intellectuals. Who are widely thought to the impact resulting from the global carbon trade, starting with small things, until the great thing is :

This is done as my role as a student (youth) to trade greenhouse gas emissions : 1. Monitoring: Monitoring the condition of forests in Indonesia is an asset of the State as well as policies that have been released by the government, so I joined the executive board of students in the faculty of fisheries and marine science working in the field to constantly monitor student activists and local government policies that require the rules governing the issue of carbon trading in Indonesia in detail. 2. Controling: To control the activities that occur in the environment, related carbon emissions in each region that is income from the assets of local financial revenue in Indonesia. 3. Supervision: Conduct surveillance in collaboration with the Government, University and Community The NGO in forest management, so as to implement and maintain appropriate standards of sustainable forest management certification standards are recognized. 4. Research: Do some research on the negative impact and positif and trade carbon emissions for the countries of Indonesia, also do counseling to it.
